It is the most delightful property in which to spend time away from home with its cosy wood burner in the living room, the comfortable beds and modern bathrooms, not to mention the delightful garden to the rear, it really adds that little extra something to a holiday in the Lake District.



The peaceful village of Torpenhow is the ideal spot for exploring the area. The even quieter Northern Fells are on your doorstep with many walks, yet easily accessible for day trips are the popular tourist towns of Keswick, Cockermouth and the historic city of Carlisle. The famous Hadrian’s Wall is only a short drive as well as Dumfries and Galloway, the Scottish Borders and the Yorkshire Dales. Pub and restaurant 1 mile.
