This delightful 18th-century mariner’s cottage is in an enviable location in Whitby’s conservation area, at the foot of the 199 steps leading up to St Mary’s church and the abbey ruins. Seacrest offers stunning sea views from the top two floors and a stylish interior with antique furniture and a wealth of period detail.
Tate Hill Sands are a meagre 50 yards away. Whitby boasts a 3 mile stretch of award-winning beaches, clifftop golf course and eclectic mix of shops, inns, tea rooms, restaurants, museums and art galleries. The smugglers coves of Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes are easily accessible. Fishing nearby. Pub and restaurant 20 yards.

We stayed in February and the cottage was really warm and cozy and well equiped we had a few problems which was soon sorted. The garden will be lovely ln the summer we had a great time. Mavis and Bob Kennedy

Beautiful cottage and has secure parking which is an added bonus in Whitby. Close to everything you could ask for and spectacular views. Highly recommended and will definitely be a return visitor.

Probably more pricy in the height of Summer and special events, such as Goth weekends, but great value in September. Fantastic location at the foot of the 199 Steps and a superbly equipped cottage. It is set over four floors with a spiral staircase arrangement, so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, but some great views. We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay.
