About this house rental
This home is located directly on the water, on the east shore of Lake Dunmore, tucked into a sheltered, half-moon bay. It is a modern, energy efficient, four season home, decorated and furnished by an artist. Located in the heart of Vermont's Champlain Valley, we are close to both Middlebury and Brandon. Lake Champlain is 30 minutes away, and The Green Mountains behind us boast world class skiing at Killington, Pico Mountain, and Sugarbush ski Resorts. Excellent golf, antiquing, gallery hopping and dining are minutes away from this serene spot.
Out front, a large, flat lawn, complete with a rope hammock, a campfire pit, is perfect for for recreation and sunning. The sandy beach is ideal for small children.
We're well off the paved road, at the end of a dirt driveway, so the only sounds you'll hear are the loons. Everything needed for relaxing is provided.
There is one bedroom with a CA King bed, a second room with two twin bunks, and a third with a double bed.
Outside there is a large stone patio with loungers, a cocktail table and umbrella, a picnic table, lawn chairs, and a Weber gas grill.

This is a very special place. Ashley's home is just beautiful; thoughtfully built and designed to showcase her incredible art collection and beautiful lake views. The attention to detail to made our stay absolutely perfect. We decided to eat in most nights and very much appreciated a well-stocked kitchen for cooking and grilling. The screen porch is just such a delightful way to have a meal at the lake. The bedrooms are cozy and well-appointed. Our favorite part is the door from the primary bedroom right onto the patio so the dog could run outside and jump in the lake. Good AC & WIFI is a huge concern and they do not disappoint! Not a "budget" stay but worth the splurge. I can't wait for our next visit!

Wonderful spot on Lake Dunmore. We swam, kayaked, hiked, grilled and did it all again the next day. We had a great time!

Third time here. Nice place. Communication was lacking. Booked about a year in advance. We messaged to advise we’d be there a day late. No response. Host was not expecting us when we showed up, and they had construction planned in the joined garage, so had to put up with that disruption most of the week.
