About this house rental
This secluded lakefront property is nestled among beautiful oaks and pines. We renovated our home in 2017 with all new hardwood floors, Stainless Steel appliances, granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms and brand new furnishings throughout. TV's with DirectTV in 2 of the 3 bedrooms, living room and in the game room. The game room features a barstools, TV w/DirectTV, a ping pong table, foosball table and dartboard. Single Kayak for your use. Washer and dryer for your convenience. Kitchen comes stocked with blender, toaster, microwave, coffee pot and grinder, all dishes, cutting boards, spices, grilling utensils, pots & pans, baking sheets & dishes, coozies and mixing bowls. Relax on the spacious deck with table that seats 6, propane grill, and 2 adirondack chairs where you can hear the sounds of the lake shore and sometimes the rippling creek below. Outdoor firepit with great seating. A short, 2 minute walk down to the waters edge. 8 miles from Heber Springs town where you have Walmart, restaurants, shopping and other amenities. 6 miles from JFK park and fishing on the Little Red River. At the end of our street is the boat ramp for boat launches, pier and a sandy beach for those who don't have boats or when don't feel like getting it out. Dam Site Marina can be seen from our deck and where you can rent watercraft. Lindsey's Resort is 7.5 miles away where you can trout fish and rent a Jon boat, canoe or kayak. 11 miles to Cow Shoals with world renown trout fishing. Collin's Creek is 6 miles away with great, leisurely hiking.

Katie was an excellent communicator. The house was beautiful and our family loved the game room. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked which made cooking Thanksgiving dinner a breeze. We had a great time and hope to return.

Great home. Love the openness of the living / kitchen. My fault for not realizing the game room was not accessible from inside the home or that there was not an in-suite master bath. One of the bedrooms has 2 sets of bunk but they are super squeaky. I made my 2 girls staying in that room sleep on the bottom as it wasn’t as squeaky down there. The ventilation in the home is unpredictable. Could be time to year or that the home is a conventional foundation.The home overall is nice and stocked very well. My oldest enjoyed the kayak. Walk down is more steep than anticipated but there is a path lined with rocks so that is helpful!

We had a great time while staying @ the lake house… we swam @ the lake below the house, rented a boat from dam site marina & enjoyed eating @ local restaurants.
