About this house rental
Tuscan styled showpiece located ocean front, directly on the wide sandy beach of Mandalay Shores. Permit # 21-132-06.
This beach is a hidden gem, off the beaten track but close to the amenities of Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. The property is unique because there are many outdoor decks and balconies to enjoy the fresh ocean air and the VIEWS. There is a semi-enclosed courtyard right off the kitchen perfect for barbequing and relaxing. We rent weekly Friday to Friday during summer.
The first story has a warm, spacious great room open to the ocean views. The kitchen is a delight with all the bells and whistles. The unique powder room vanity was fashioned from an 18th century Italian antique. There are 2 guest rooms and 1 bath on this level. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has a trundle (2 twins).
The 2nd story has a guest room with private bath overlooking the courtyard. The sumptuous master retreat has a steamer shower, whirlpool tub for 2 and private dry sauna, surrounded by breathtaking ocean views (even when sitting in the sauna!).
The 3rd story features an ocean front guest room with a hall bath. The exterior deck has lots of room to lounge and there is a private hot tub, ideal for watching the sun set. Bedroom has an elliptical exercise machine and a queen bed.
Toys provided include bikes and boogie boards used at guest's discretion with no liability on the owners.
The owners have designed and built many beach properties. This home embodies the best of beach living!

Our family stayed at Tuscan Sol in September for a week and it was awesome! Time to unwind and enjoy the beautiful home and the terrific beach weather. I couldn’t get enough of the ocean views. Cathy and Peter have the perfect getaway spot and are wonderful hosts.

Another great stay at the Tuscan Sol. This is a wonderful house. A perfect location, beautiful views and plenty of room for a family week on the beach. Owners Peter and Cathy are always great. Will be back again next summer.

Pete and Cathy, the owners, did a great job of making us feel very welcome to their home. It's a great location, right on the beach and close to shopping amenities.
We would highly recommend Tuscan Sol.
