In the southwest of Lanzarote, a short drive from the centre and beloved beach of Playa Blanca, the villa Casa Mercedes offers tranquil holidays with utmost privacy in an upscale, elegant atmosphere. The wheelchair accessible holiday home impresses guests with its modern architecture and consists of a bright living/dining room, due to a sky light overhead, a very well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances, 2 bedrooms (1 with 2 single beds) as well as 2 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate 4 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, air conditioning, satellite and cable television, a washing machine, an outdoor shower and a baby cot. The dreamlike, highly private outdoor area of the villa is spacious and surrounded by large walls of dark stone. The covered patio, equipped with a comfortable seating area, a dining table and a large grill, invites you to prepare meals together in the fresh air and have a glass of wine to round off the colorful evenings. The large, crystal clear pool of the property (heated at 24°C), surrounded by sun loungers and a stretch of healthy lawn, is perfect for refreshment and fun on sunny afternoons. Due to the property’s optimal location, shops, restaurants, bars and cafes are just a 5-minute drive or 2 km away in the centre of Playa Blanca. The golden sand of the beautiful beach Playa Dorada is similarly just a 5-minute drive from the home, where beachgoers can relax on the shore and soak up the Lanzarote sun.

Good location. Very private. Would be better with some more British channels to view on the tv and the outside area would have benefitted from a parasol but other than that could not fault the place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa was clean and modern. The garden is fantastic. Great pool, bbq and garden space. Complete privacy. The neighbourhood is fine but nothing to write home about and you need a car to get everywhere but it was a very comfy base and the kids loved the garden and pool. Our only negative is that we felt the kitchen was not equipped enough. We cooked most days and found we were running out of crockery etc all the time. The dishwasher was useless too. Otherwise a lovely place to stay. Would recommend to families happy to eat out most of the time.

A excellent villa refitted to a very high standard. The garden and pool areas are the stand out features.
All the Tech (WiFi, Tv and phone coverage) is excellent.
The layout and fresh fill of the property makes your stay very relaxing.
Just a couple of comments
1. There is no information pack in the villa with details on how to set the alarm , connect to WiFi, emergency contact numbers and equipment manuals.
We were able to work stuff out but not all guests will not be able to this.
2. Some more kitchen accessories would be nice.
*Some plastic cup/glasses for around the pool. May be plastic plates
*food chopping board (we brought one and left in the villa )
*knife sharpener.
These are just constructive comments and in our opinion would add to the guest experience.
