About this apartment rental
Description of Condo
Our beautifully decorated one bedroom/one bath oceanfront condominium is at Maalaea Kai in beautiful Maalaea Maui. The condo is on the second floor. There is an elevator. We stay at our condo, too, and are always working to keep it clean, updated, and in tip-top condition. We want it to be nice for us and for you.
The entire condo is air conditioned! Our unit differs from most condominiums in Maui in that the building is on a cul-de-sac so there is little vehicular traffic. Also, unlike most condos, you can hear the ocean from the bedroom as well as the living room. Because we are a corner unit, our bedroom has windows on two walls and one of them faces the ocean. We love hearing the ocean throughout the entire condo! We are also unique in that our plush bed and bedding are of the highest quality we could buy. You will think you're staying at a 5 Star hotel!
Living Room
As explained above, our building is designed in a way that some of the condos, while not being end units, are still corner units, which we like because the bedroom and the living room have windows on two sides. Being a corner unit, there is a side window that allows more light and airflow in addition to the sliding glass door. The living room has bamboo floors, a sleeper sofa, which sleeps two, and a love seat. (Knowing that sleeper sofas aren't as comfortable as regular beds, we have a memory foam topper to put on top of the mattress so its nice and comfy.) There is a dining table with four chairs. Our entertainment system includes a 40' flat screen TV, and a DVD/Blu-ray player. We have a large selection of movies on DVD. Our WiFi is free and very fast.
Bedroom
Our bedroom has beautiful plush carpeting, designer drapes, a king-size bed (two extra-long twins connected together in a king-size frame, so you are less apt to feel your companion moving in the middle of the night), two nightstands, and two dressers. We are very particular about the bed we sleep in and our comfort is as important to us as it is to you. Our mattresses are Simmons Beautyrest Euro Plush Pillowtops. You will love them! We also have a 4” gel memory foam topper and a mattress pad on top of the mattresses. The sheets are buttery soft and two of the four king pillows are 100% down and two are very soft poly-fill for those who are allergic to down. We have other pillows, too, so you have a nice selection to choose from. The designer duvet is elegant and soft. You will be in total comfort while falling asleep to the blissful sound of the ocean! The split air conditioning system and ceiling fan will keep you cool while you are sleeping. We also have blackout shades you can lower to make the room extra dark.
Kitchen
Our kitchen has a high quality electric stove/cook-top and microwave and is fully stocked with everything you could want, including beautiful Hawaiian china, wine glasses, a blender, a toaster, an oven, a refrigerator, a rice cooker, a crockpot, and all the pots and pans you would need. We have a drip coffee maker and a French Press for our coffee loving friends. We provide ground coffee for you. (We love enjoying our coffee in the morning as we watch the beautiful sunrise from the lanai!)
Bathroom
The bathroom has a nice tub/shower combination. It has a beautiful mosaic tile floor and a nice vanity and matching mirror. Our towels are high quality and plush. We provide body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, as well as skin lotion.

The property is amazing! Everything you could possibly need is already there. Very neat and clean. It was just like the pictures. Communication with owner was very easy and quick. Danny is the best I have ever dealt with. We will absolutely use this wonderful place next time we go to Maui. Area is quiet and centrally located to pretty much all of the island. I would definitely recommend this one to my best friend or family. Thanks for the wonderful accommodations!

Oh wow…what a great place to stay for a quiet, clean condo. Can’t say we have ever slept on a more comfortably bed and pillows! Danny was a friendly and attentive host! Our communication with the him was quick and helpful. It truly is a beautiful property, pool and even has an awesome beach at the end of the road, with lots of trees for shade, as well as sun! Centrally located on Maui made it easy for us to get to other parts of the island easily. And had many choices of nice, casual places to eat near by! Thank you again for detailed instructions and a lot of bang for our buck!

The condo was everything that was advertised. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching the sunrise and eating breakfast. The place is centrally located between east Maui and west Maui. The host is very quick at responding and will give restaurant suggestions if you ask.
