The Edgewater is a stunning, serene home that has 5 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bath home that sleeps 14 guests. This waterfront home is in scenic Mill Valley, with it’s own private beach, and located on the shore between Sausalito and Tiburon. It is close to San Francisco, Sausalito and Napa/Sonoma wine country!
Our home has been designed to give you a place to relax, reflect and connect. Whether you're looking for tranquility or a space to enjoy with others, our home is the perfect sanctuary!
Enjoy waterfront views, a large sunroom, a quiet walk in an upscale neighborhood and lovely shops, restaurants and fun activities.
This spacious professionally decorated home sleeps has a large living room and dining room with vaulted ceilings and large windows that fill the room with natural sunlight.
The beautiful well stocked granite chefs kitchen with high end appliances allows you to cook a lovely meal. As you look out, you’ll see the big backyard overlooking the bay, great for barbecuing, playing with the kids, or soaking up the sunny warm weather. The home has large custom artwork by local artist blending perfectly with the Asian antiques and contemporary decor and furnishings.
This unique place is perfect for family vacations, a friend’s getaway, business trips, attending a wedding/reception, extended stay due to home construction/updates or attending festivals, retreats or conferences.
Highlights:
- Master suite includes a balcony, perfect for overlooking the bay while having your morning coffee. A luxurious bathroom with 2 person jacuzzi tub and a 2 person shower.
- 2 Bedrooms with private patios just steps away from the shore.
- Sun room with a glass roof, a great place for yoga, to soak in the sun or read a book
- Bring your own kayak, wind surfer, or canoe and launch them from the property’s edge as your family and friends barbecue and hang out on the back deck.
It has everything that will make your stay simply memorable. Magnificent view of the water and distant mountains, migrating birds [seasonally], great restaurants within 10 minutes, famous vineries within 40 minutes drive, world famous parks within 25 minutes, classy shops 10 minutes. Most of our guests just want to stay here and do nothing but relax watching the Pelicans diving in the water, Canadian geese migrating, a family of deer grazing in the back yard. Or occasionally watching sea lions swimming in the water.
PLEASE NOTE:
No wedding, parties, get togethers, etc. are allowed at this home due respect for my neighbour's peace and tranquility.
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS: The guests will have complete occupation of the property during their stay and thus total privacy without any interference.

Can’t beat the wall of windows with a stunning view from a spacious family/dining room with LoTs of comfy seating. Easy kitchen for serving a house full. Lots of bedrooms - several nicer open up couches in addition. One full and one 1/2 bath accessible to all and the 2nd full luxurious BR is off the master bedroom …but we still shared. Our disappointments were the rusty very tired back yard patios and furniture- The empty propane tank mid our one eve of grilling. ( we filled it fyi and did not gather outdoors at all unfortunately ) The washer/dryer malfunctioned upon arrival however owner very responsive and had repairman there readily. Tips to renters- no spices, even salt shaker empty. Finally found toilet paper on floor of hall coat closet (I dunno?). Despite some disorganization, the zen sitting room was unique and made up for little frustrations. Once we figured out how to crank open the skylight, it was less of a sauna and we could enjoy the space. Location, parking in driveway- excellent. We had a terrific time! Much much more good in this home! Recommend.

Host was so gracious and responsive throughout initial contact to follow-up after visit. The arrangement of bedrooms (two up, three lower level) fit our group of ten members from three generations perfectly. Neighborhood was upscale, quiet, tucked away but really easy to access. Staying north of the GG Bridge allowed us enhanced navigation to the many sites and restaurants we visited. The "beach access" is a little tricky for older folks or people who are not steady on their feet. We left our hearts not in SF but in Sausalito!

The location of the property with the view over the water was beautiful. The size of the home was great for our extended family to spend Christmas. We had a wonderful time together. However to make the stay a better experience it would be good to improve the cleanliness of the kitchen utensils, the drawers and the cupboards. We had to wash up several dishes before we could use them. The drawer and cupboard were disorganized and dirty. For a place of that size where up to 10 -12 people to stay there is a need for more glasses etc. When you are paying top dollar there is an expectation that wasn't met , unfortunately- eg 2 wine glasses etc. These things could be fixed easily to make it a much better experience for the price that you are paying.
