First, I began receiving texts from a property company requesting a picture of my ID to make sure it was me. It took several days for them to verify it was them before I sent the picture. This has never been required before with a VRBO booking and we book pretty often. Then, both outside trash cans were completely full upon our arrival. I did reach out to the management company and they did send someone out to empty them. The house was pretty basic, but we all felt like the beds could be a lot more comfortable. They were pretty hard in our opinion. Also, we were there for 3 nights with 6 people and were only given 7 flimsy towels for the entire stay. Most houses we stay at are just a little more accommodating as far as comfort goes. Overall though, the house had amazing views and we caught lots of small fish.

Wonderful location in Sea Isle. Fishing right off the dock and amazing views of the sunrise and sunsets. The house is very clean and set up nicely. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip!

We loved our stay! The location was great and the house accommodated almost everything we needed. The only issues we had were that there were no cleats to tie the boat off to, and it was stated that the boat stall and lift were off limits, and we also had to drive 30 minutes into the island to retrieve the key to the boat dock. The fishing was great we caught a ton of crabs the crab trap and there was a steady supply of bait moving throughout the canal! The house had everything we needed it was well stocked. All rooms had smart TVs.

This home is in a great location for canal access and fishing. We brought our own kayaks and easily dropped them in the canal. The Sea Isle community is wonderful. We always frequent the pier, restaurant, market store and bait shop. The home was clean with a well stocked kitchen. The upper deck and lower deck were wonderful to sit and relax. We would definitely stay again.

Awesome area! Very Laidback environment. We spoke with a Realtor while there about purchasing a location in the Sea Isle/Terramar neighborhoods. The BEST of BOTH Worlds! The Beach is a short Golf Cart ride away and the Bay offers fishing, boating, and from what I understand some Duck Hunting! Super Cool!!

The first property had flooded in the downstairs and smelled of mildew so badly we couldn't stay but the management was wonderful and put us in another rental! The 2nd place was great!

Our family truly enjoys staying in Sea Isle. This was our first time at this property. The location was fabulous. It’s right across from the bay on the corner of the canals. It’s a short walk, bike ride, or golf cart drive to the marina as well. The deck has an amazing View of the bay and sunset. The kitchen was well stocked with pots pans plates glasses and silverware. The entire place was very clean. I would highly recommend this property and we will try to stay here again.

We had a wonderful two night stay in this canal home with bay views. Cozy home with a large kitchen. Bedrooms and bathrooms were a bit small but that’s typical for a beach house. We loved the upstairs and downstairs outdoor areas. Excellent fishing (catfish, redfish, croakers, spots and black drums) and room to grill downstairs as well as covered and uncovered areas to lounge upstairs. Management was very responsive when we had questions. House was well equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely return!

Gary Greene was difficult to deal with on the front end. Required a lot of hoops to jump through and extremely strict about their guidelines. I felt like they were constantly assuming I was using the property for nefrious reasons. However, property was clean great location. Great fishing and beach.

Everything is perfect. The neighborhood is very quiet. The scenery is breath-taking. The house is well kept and very clean. We fished in the backyard and caught a few fish. My only suggestion for the manager is to fix the under-water light. We had a blast and would definitely be back.

This property was wonderful. Clean, comfortable and a perfect location. Put the boat right in for the guys to take to the bay and us girls were minutes from the beach. It was quiet and relaxing. We loved the ramp to take all our things upstairs. Made it so nice and easy. Also my dog and 3 year old granddaughter could go up and down with ease. We just love this quaint little bay house. We plan future visits.

We really only had 2 problems with the property. We are a family who loves to cook, eat together and play games. While the bar in the kitchen is great, there is no way to sit, eat or indulge in card or board games comfortably. While there are 2 picnic tables on site, there are none on the covered deck. The pictures of the bedrooms are a little deceiving as 2 of them have no closet and very little storage space and there was no tv in the master. Despite the problems, we really enjoyed our long weekend and seeing Galveston again. Thanks!

Pros: Had an excellent trip including fishing at a prime corner lot, floating in the canal, easy access to the bay (for boaters), a well-stocked kitchen, and home for entertaining! Linens were included and the home was very clean. Straight shot to the beach only 5 blocks away. Ramp up to the house for ease of loading your gear. Plenty of chairs on the wrap-around porch including a sun deck. We passed on that sun deck since it's way too hot in Texas in June! Will definitely stay again! Cons: Needs a permanent ladder installed, it's a challenge using the metal house ladder provided. The submersible green fishing light was not working. (but the fishing lights on the bench were.)

A great little house

A great little house

This property was perfect for a group of middle age guys to get away and relax while fishing . The property has been nicely renovated , and the beds are very comfortable. The house is located directly on intersecting canals which made it a blast to fish out back all day and night. We had a great time and I'd give this rental 5 stars!
