'Nature's Retreat' is just that, it sits on a beautiful lot with endless peace and quiet, It is located downtown Gatlinburg within footsteps to the parkway. This is a prime location! This luxury log home will provide the sanctuary that you have been looking for in a vacation home. The cabin is beautifully furnished, it has everything you need, fully equipped kitchen, high speed internet, Flat screen TVs in every room, pool table, game console, gazebo with new hot tub, covered porches with a swing, rocking chairs, patio set, a large yard with stationary park style charcoal grill, kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless appliances, seating for up to 9 , 3 bedrooms and three baths, two king master suites with ensuite bathrooms, one queen bedroom and a hall bath, (1 king bedroom on upper level, 1 king and 1 queen bedroom on main level) there is beautiful stack stone rock work throughout the house and much more, you will want to stay forever.
Gatlinburg is known for its wildlife, National Parks and area attractions, you will be able to enjoy seeing some of the local wildlife at this cabin, it is nothing to see bears, deer, racoons, birds and we even have a ground hog that makes his way through almost daily. You will be able to walk to the area attractions, restaurants and shopping on the parkway.

This is our second time staying at this cabin and it was great! We love the location. It is right off the strip, but feels secluded. Christy is a wonderful host!

Overall, very pleased. The host was very responsive and accommodating with us being snowed in with 14" of snow. The cabin had pretty much everything we could ask for accept maybe a snow blower:) we did put some miles on the snow shovel. The parking area is big and flat, but the driveway is steep, that's where most of the shoveling took place. Then cabin was clean, spacious and in a good area close to town.

Christy was an excellent host who quickly answered any questions we had. The place was super clean, beautiful and was in a great location. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future stays.

First, communication and host were lovely. Place is not dirty at all but not overly clean. The dishwasher was full of mold, but I cleaned that out in order to use then, cleaned all glass and dishes after. Noticed a lot of glasses and cups that I used had a slight mildew smell. For me I am athletic the walk down into town, and up the hill to the house was easy but not the rest of my family, it was a challenge. My solution was that I found the perfect parking space next to the Hillybilly Golf at the bottom of the hill right before going into town. It is only a 1.00 per hour and then 1/2 mile into town and then back to car. Very easy and inexpensive and beats the heavy traffic of driving into town. There is a bus drop right at the parking lot if tired and need a ride to your car. Bring your own pillows most, not all, are flat, although the beds were comfy, slept well. If planning on anyone using the upstairs futon think again, it is extremely uncomfortable and my daughter could not sleep on the futon, she ended up sleeping on the leather couch. Futon needs to be replaced; it is not suitable to sit on. The chairs at the table are hard wooden chairs, we used some of the flat pillows as a cushion on the chairs, small chair cushion should be considered. If want to take a bath none of the stoppers worked, could not take a bath only shower. It is a nice house, but not worth the amount of money I paid. Should have been about 800.00 less.
