This is a great place to stay with a large family. The location is perfect. Not too far from restaurants and downtown area.Gary is an amazing host. He's ready to help with any questions you may have. Definitely staying here again.

I was looking for something with enough space with an area to barbecue. This place was perfect and aa all the previous reviews had mentioned. The place was very nice and clean which we appreciated. The huge table was not only beautiful but a wonderful gathering place for my family. my only con would be if I’m paying a cleaning fee, I don’t mind cleaning up after myself, but for it to be a requirement, to start the dishwasher and start the washer and take the trash cans to the curb although they’re simple things I was on vacation and I thought that’s what I pay extra for the cleaning so I could’ve just concentrated on my family, but I would definitely recommend maybe others don’t have a problem my brother didn’t feel it was asking too much. This was my first stay as I’m used to hotels where all these things are done for me so it could just be a me thing.

This home is in a nice quiet neighborhood, with quick access to Dutch Bros, Dunkin, Frazier Farms and several other grocery stores. Home also in vicinity of delivery from Walmart and Whole Foods for convenience. There is plenty of parking in front of the 2 garages of the home. There are 5 large bedrooms with 2 King beds. The kitchen is large and spacious for several people to be cooking with room for all. Expansive dining table to seat everyone along the dining table. The backyard is great for cooking out and allowing the kids to play, and very private. The family room layout is great for watching tv, and playing on the floor. The bed and beddings are very soft and comfortable! Both of the showers are amazing! Hot, hot water and a great shower head with tons of water pressure! There is a private laundry room with an additional refrigerator and 2 washers and dryers. Communication with host was great! If you are traveling with a large family or more than one family this is the home for you!

We had a great stay here on our visit to legoland. The host was great at answering any questions I had. The space is nice for large groups . It’s location near supermarkets fast food and restaurants was great .

Here for a family wedding. Home was clean and very roomy for our group. Roomy kitchen and beds were very comfortable. Wish we would have had more time to use the home during the day! Gary was easy to work with and answered our questions in a timely manner. Nice property!

This vacation home was perfect for what we needed for Labor Day weekend. The kitchen is very big plus dining area. Loved the dining room table. The beds are comfortable. This home is a 4-5 minute drive to the beach. We lacked nothing. We'll definitely return if occasion arises for another visit to Oceanside.

Great house for small to large groups. We had 8 adults and 4 children aged under 5 years old. Great set up with 5 comfortable bedrooms and an awesome backyard for the kids. Privacy fence and a quiet neighborhood made it feel like we were not in a typical Oceanside neighborhood. Great host with great communication. Highly recommend this home for vacation or visiting friends and family.

The house was in great condition and Gary was very helpful!

I booked this location as it had everything needed for our big group of friends. The home is spacious, everything is renovated, the beds were so comfortable, rooms had plenty of storage and TVs (except bunk bed room), and I appreciated they had closet hangers (we were there for a wedding and the hangers were life saving with hanging up dresses and the guys suits). The yard is beautiful (only inconvenience was the spider webs - we didn’t have anyone brave in our group to clean the webs off the patio furniture). I would definitely recommend Gary’s home to anyone in the Oceanside area!

Beautiful home with lots of space for families. Home was clean and in order and very close to Legoland and Camp Pendleton. Gary was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and accommodate home

We loved our stay at this beautiful home! It was beautifully decorated and very tastefully done! The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The backyard was perfect for our granddaughters to let out some energy! Everything was very clean and tidy except the floors, which I told Gary about. He said he would check with his house cleaner. A couple very minor cons were the bedroom doors squeaked and the main bathroom was small, but the pros by far outweighed the cons and we would highly recommend this property!

We had a great time staying in the Oceanside Retreat! It was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Very nice appliances and furnishings. The neighborhood was quiet and in a great location for our needs. We have never been to San Diego before and didn't really know what to expect, but we would stay here again without hesitation. Fantastic property and the host was great!

We spent our spring break in Cali visiting our son. The house was perfect in every way. It was clean and inviting with all needed accommodations. The price is reasonable given the area, number of people and current economy. Gary (owner) was super friendly and available for questions. He went above and beyond in offering advice on where to shop/purchase a car (which we helped our son buy one during our stay). The location is in a quiet neighborhood, close to Oceanside, the beach/pier. I'm sure we will be visiting California again and will look for this property again. Thank you Gary for all your help!! What an amazing find. I’m in awe of how well presented this property was because from the first sight it gave more than I could’ve hoped for. Upon entering the property, it was super fresh and amazingly clean. I’m not even exaggerating. It was also cozy for our whole family. Neighborhood was really quiet and everything was in working order and newly remodeled with beautiful decor. All the supplies we needed were already there. My only recommendation would be to have a full length body mirror, and because my family stays cold all the time, it would’ve been nice to have more control over the thermostat. Gary was amazing and responded instantly to my question about the heat and fixed it instantly too. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem! 10/10 in my books and I’m picky!

Beautiful secured house. Very neatly kept. Gary is a great host, very prompt in answering questions. Stayed for 5 days . Nice neighborhood. Would love to visit again . Close to the beaches and Legoland.

We celebrated my sons 6th bday at Legoland with our family and the property was very close to everything. It was comfortable, nicely decorated and spacious. Cute backyard and kitchen is fully stocked. Please be mindful to bring seasoning items if cooking (including salt and pepper). We’d stay at the property again next time we visit the area. We were attending a wedding and it was spacious enough for our entire family! Gary was quick to respond to emails and is a fantastic host. Enough room for everyone and backyard looked great. It rained so we did not use. We will be back!!

We really enjoyed our stay with this house in Oceanside! It's got all the amenities, plenty of room, clean, comfortable, and perfect! If we ever go back I would definitely rent this again! I highly recommend it!

A group of soccer parents stayed here for a week during a soccer tournament and it was such a great spot. Impeccably clean and very well maintained. Enough space for everyone to be comfortable and a fun backyard to gather in. The neighborhood was meh but it was just a 5 min drive into Oceanside which was so perfect. Very nice VRBO house!!
