About this house rental

A Northwest dream vacation just an hour away from Seattle nestled in Madronas and towering Douglas Firs. Contemporary cedar home w/ 5+ acres of beachfront only an hour from Seattle. No ferries necessary to get there... Unless you'd like to ferry over and drive from Bremerton, Southworth or Kingston.

Soak in the 180 degree view of the beach from the living room with 20' tall prow fronted windows. The home has a large master suite loft and two additional bedrooms on the main floor. Above the garage is another bedroom that has three beds (queen + daybed + trundle) and has its own dedicated bathroom. The house comfortably sleeps 10 people. The design of the house is ideal for two families.

Explore acres of pristine private tideland The beach offers many wildlife sightings - seals, otters, a multitude of sea ducks, eagles and herons. In the summer and fall, pick apples, cherries, raspberries and plums in the estate's orchard. Explore the North bay waters with kayak and SUP rentals in nearby Gig Harbor or Allyn.

For golf fans, Chamber's Bay in Tacoma recently hosted the U.S. Open is 30 minutes away. For those looking to play close by, the much lauded Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton is only 15 miles away.

Guests have access to propane BBQ, fire pit, firewood, outdoor dining tables, gazebo, and orchards. The immediate beach is part of the rental property. Beaches North and South are private property, but you are free to explore and walk the beach in either direction.

Great for families or a romantic getaway. The beach is safe and accessible, and the several acre property provides plenty of room to roam and small freshwater creek that's always a hit for kids. The town of Allyn is nearby and has a great doughnut shop, Big Bubbas Burgers, our favorite Mexican restaurant, a pizza place, and don't miss the chainsaw art outdoor gallery.

The house you rent is decent inside. Dirty carpets, especially on the stairs, moldy refrigerator and the A/C didn't work the first 3 days we were there. The owner was very responsive to the A/C issue as it was hot, and they live part time next door but we didn't appreciate having them or the technician interrupting our dinner, birthday party and middle of the day family fun. The picture's are very deceiving and the owner stated that everyone's yard looks like theirs but simply drive 1 mile in either direction and that's not true, even in July. Broken down and falling fences, planters filled with dead plants and breaking apart , moldy dirty chaise lounges, there is NO creek for kids unless you come in the rainy season, no hammock. Keep in mind that this rental is literally attached to an older home that is in complete disrepair and falling apart. The air hockey table was unusable the entire stay. 2 bdrms and 1 full bath downstairs, a loft master suite with full bath and a bdrm over the garage with full bath. Owners claim that recycling is mandatory in Mason County and charge 25 for each bag they go through to verify recycling was up to their standards. We live i Mason County and recycling IS NOT MANDATORY in the and to think that the owners go through your trash to verify, is invasive to say the least.Overall, this property isnt worth the money they charge, it was embarrassing to drive up to with family who stayed there. The owners were clearly offended with o

I rarely fall in love with a rental house but this house is so cute and easy to be in. I love the A frame house style with the loft master bedroom, big kitchen and open family gathering area. We were lucky enough to have great weather and could open the windows and enjoy the sea breeze as well as the view. Beach walking was easy (rocky) and we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit area. The town of Allyn is only a few minutes away with good restaurants and cute shops.

The house is beautifully rustic, the views are gorgeous, and the whole setting really peaceful. There was road construction at the gate during our stay, but that's no one's fault.House had room for all 8 of us, and a playpen for the baby. I would note, the grill needs replaced and at a minimum a deep clean, bc it was hard to use and caught fire when we did.Kids enjoyed the beach and saw lots of wildlife and cool sea creatures during low tide. and everyone had a great 3 days. The house was clean except for some cobwebs in places, and the house was well stocked with dishes and cookware and plenty of towels and hygiene products.I would definitely stay again.

Our stay was fully enjoyable for our group of six adults and four children. Even though the weather was not as warm as we’d hoped, we had lots of room to spread out and enjoy the home. The large table was great for meals and games. We really appreciated the large, well-equipped kitchen and comfy beds too.

This is a beautiful waterfront home west of Seattle so you can enjoy the area without the hustle and noise of the city. Downtown Seattle was an easy ferry ride and Belfair gave access to groceries, etc. Had a few crickets we couldn’t get rid of but that’s likely common in a wooded area like this. Overall, we had a great time

Beautiful property, quiet, views that standout. During the stay, we able to watch and learn about clam seeding. In 5- 7 years there will be geoduck clams to harvest. I have marked my calendar for my next visit in 2031.

We enjoyed the stay a lot. The house is very nice and welcoming, and the property size and seclusion are outstanding.
