Padaro Sands is a beautiful beach home located on the sandy beach next to Padaro Lane. The home is located inside a gated community shared with two other properties.
The 2 bedroom/3 bath gated house offers great ocean, coastal, and mountain views. It has a wonderful upper deck and lower deck for entertaining, grilling, and watching sunsets and dolphins passing by! Lights under the deck shine out onto the sand and the surf to illuminate the beach at night. Your private stairs lead down onto the beach and to the water.
The living and dining rooms are well designed to enjoy plenty of space for relaxing and dining while offering commanding views of the Pacific Ocean. The living area is colorful and comfortable and is equipped with a Flatscreen TV, Blue Ray/DVD, Sonos Sound System, and a gas fireplace.
The gourmet kitchen has all Viking and Bosch appliances, granite countertops, and a skylight to add lots of natural light. It is fully equipped for easy family meals. The house eludes a casual coastal lifestyle and is perfect for small families who enjoy luxury on the sand or a romantic getaway for that special occasion. We supply games, videos, sand toys, 2 beach chairs, and two patio tables with umbrellas! Just pack your suitcase and be among one of our repeat guests. Our stay was lovely. Right on the beach with a beach overlooking hot tub... just dreamy. The host, Spencer, was very responsive to questions and very kind. The property is very close to the train tracks, and near a road crossing so you can hear a loud train horn when the train approaches, esp in the back bedroom. It was a bit hard to sleep on the first night (a Saturday), but we noticed it less and less each night. Not sure if we got use to it or if there were just less trains the other nights.

Five Star location! On the sand, unobstructed views of the water and awesome sunsets!Home is clean, bedding was fresh and beds comfortable. Nice location away from the hustle and bussel in Santa Barbara, yet with close proximity to Santa Barbara as well as quaint, downtown Carpinteria. Definitely would stay here again!

I could say a lot about this property and about my stay, but will be brief. The bed linens and pillows are in dire need of updating and upgrading. I took everything off and was grateful that I brought my own. The sofa needs to be replaced as it is very uncomfortable unless you take off all cushions. Bring sleeping masks as both bedrooms are very bright in the morning. Kitchen is nice. View is lovely, of course. Funky house overall that needs work… please be aware that the public will be right out your front deck all day long. Lots of kids, dogs, umbrellas… but very quiet at night. Jacuzzi is nice.
