About this apartment rental

Summary:
My place is close to restaurants, shops and transportation. The Hawaiian Monarch Hotel is conveniently located near the main strip of Kalakaua Ave and the Hilton Hawaiian Village is 15 minutes away with the Waikiki Beach fronting the Hilton.
Nearby popular places like "Cheeseburgers in Paradise", "7-Eleven", "Tommy Bahamma's" Store and Bar, "Bill's", "Hard Rock Cafe" and many more...!

The Space:
Upgraded Full Kitchen that is fully stocked with cookware and dinnerware.
New Wood Flooring in Master bedroom, Guest bedroom and Living Room area.
New Cushions on the living room sitting area.
Unit is very spacious for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit.

Guest Access:
The Hawaiian Monarch has a 6th Floor Pool Deck with Hot Tub and BBQ Grills and Picnic Tables where you are welcomed guests.

The Lower Lobby has a Fitness Room ($5 Flat Fee for registration and key access).

The Neighborhood:
Cross Streets are Niu Street and Kalakaua Ave and Ala Wai Blvd

The Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel is about 10-15 minutes away which is on the beach.

Getting Around:
Bus stops nearby (see "TheBus" is our city transit system).

Kalakaua Ave is the strip that runs through Waikiki (approx 2 mile stretch).

Hawaiian Monarch is almost the furthest west end of Waikiki as the resort district. Moments from Hard Rock Cafe, Tommy Bahama's Grill on one side and the Hilton Hawaiian Village on the other end.

Parking alert
The parking rate is $40 per 24 hour period (in and out privileges through the day). If you pay for only one day, need to pay $45.(subject to change)
No oversize vehicles due to height restrictions/limitation.
Height clearance is approx 6feet with attendants assessment that can reject any vehicle that may be threat to lowered sections of sprinkler system.
Also, the attendant accepts only cash and no exceptions.
Please have your card key available to show as guest.

Overall our stay was good! Beds were comfortable, loved having 2 bathrooms with shower, and a washer and dryer, the entire place was mostly clean. The TV in the living room was broken, the beige couch was fairly dirty, and the blinds needed some new panels but overall everything else was great. I think a couch cover for the couches, fixing the living room TV, and putting new blinds panels is all I would say they need to update. It’s was close to the beach, there was a food truck village just across the street, and lots of shops and food near by. Pool was fun and had easy access. There was a little shop on the lobby floor if you forgot anything (like laundry detergent). Accessing the key cards was simple. We would stay here again.

Property was as described. Close to shopping and restaurants. It was a bit of a walk to the beach so not sure if it would be better to walk or drive. Definitely check out the restaurant on property, very good!

Unit was not very clean. Black mold growing in bathrooms. Appliances in kitchen dirty from last renters. No control knobs on ac unit. Multiple slates missing from blinds through out unit. Upon entering unit, entryway flooring coming up causing trip hazard. Possible injury to feet.
