About this house rental

This lovely and fully equipped and heated cottage is located on the beautiful Saint John River. The cottage has a large wrap around and lower south and east facing decks from where you can view boaters and sailers alike who regularly enjoy the river. Enjoy the 200 feet of private beach with excellent swimming. Public beaches and village in very close proximity making your stay comfortable and stress free. One large master bedroom and set of bunks in common area.

The cottage is furnished very comfortably - especially the king size mattress. Nothing in any of the reviews or in the owner's description state the following: Washer & Dryer are in basement & entrance is outside under the deck. The washer connections leak and thus the basement floor gets very wet after each use of washing machine. The cottage's well water has a strong sulfur odor along with orange strains to the toilet, tub and any white laundry from the iron minerals in the water. The water was not filtered but the owner furnished a water cooler and recommended this water for drinking, cooking, coffee & tea. There is no dishwasher in the cottage so it would help to add that along with a water filter & water softening appliance is needed.
