L’Antica Porta is a studio flat which overlooks one of the main streets of the heart of Trastevere. It’s a comfortable location, perfect for a couple who wants to spend its holiday a stone’s throw from the points of main interest of Rome and enjoying the nightlife of this typical neighborhood. It s a modern, fully furnished apartment with wi-fi, air-con, kitchenette and everything you may need. All around there are pubs, bars, bistrots, restaurants, etc. to fully enjoy your vacation.
L’Antica Porta takes its name from the ancient door, now walled, which is located inside the bedroom and which was once the entrance to the apartment
It is located on the first floor of a typical building of Trastevere district, the most characteristic of Rome .
It is 30 square meters large, just renovated, and consists of a large bright room with 2 big windows, a comfortable double bed with drawers, a TV, an open wardrobe, a table with two chairs, of a fully equipped kitchenette and of a bathroom with shower.
It’s a little gem in the ancient center of Rome and has all the necessary amenities to spend a comfortable stay in Rome.
The apartment has a private access and guests can use all the spaces of the apartment, except for a closet that contains the necessary for the management and maintenance of the apartment.
The apartment is located in one of the main streets of the center of Trastevere, the romantic heart of Rome, whose beauty is discovered through the neighborhood with its narrow alleys, exploring its precious corners, tasting the typical Roman cuisine and its most characteristic dishes, immersing yourself in the culture of the eternal city.
Trastevere is the heart of the city nightlife and it is full of restaurants and pizzerias and pubs, bars, bistros, wineries, etc..
During the hot summer nights it is wonderful to take a walk in the alleys and cool off eating an ice cream or drinking a good iced beer. Lots of romans use to do it, expecially on weekends.
Since it is in one of the district of the center, from the apartment almost all the main points of interest in the city are within walking distance.

Almost all the pubs, bars, bistros, wineries, etc. are open until 2 am and until then on the streets you can hear the voices of people who sometimes exaggerate with their volume. The windows in the room are made to decrease the noise as much as possible, but those who are light sleepers may have some difficulty in resting.
Earplugs will therefore always be available to guests.
It should also be noted that since the building is ancient, there is a passage between the kitchen area and the bedroom which is about 180 cm high (about 70 inches); therefore the higher ones must be careful not to bang the head.
