The House is on the Bolgoda Lake with magnificent Lake views. The Bolgoda lake, which has a surface area of 347kms is the largest natural lake in Sri Lanka situated on the outskirts of the capital city of Colombo and has direct access to the Indian Ocean.
Reservations for Weddings, Photoshoots, functions, and other get-togethers are available. Please, inquire.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner catering available.
A vehicle with Chauffeur (Driver) to hire is available. Please, inquire.

If you need the use of all six bedrooms, select 16-guest count to reflect correct pricing. Our rate is based on occupancy. Children of all ages count as Guest(s). ***Additional information about rental rates:
* The minimum rental period is 3 days.
* All guests are responsible for their Actual Electricity usage. Upon arrival, we will read the power meter and bill you for the actual usage every 7-days. Current unit Cost: US$0.20 (cents) per (KWH).
* The guests are responsible for the internet (WIFI) usage. Plans start at US$25 per 10GB.
* Linen: One set is included.
* Propane Tank for Kitchen usage: US$50.00

Sri Lanka has power outages although rare at times and something to keep a note of. Homestays such as ours do not have backup power generators and on a possible power outage, you would have to bear with it until power is restored.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lanka Lake Villa during our tour around Sri Lanka. When compared to other properties in this part of the world, Lanka Lake Villa gets A+ rating on cleanliness, comfort, privacy and value for the money. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a comfortable stay.

My family and I had a wonderful getaway at this beautiful mansion. It's location was perfect. While you had the Complete privacy of being tucked away in a tropical lagoon full of nature. We didn't do much traveling in the city due to monsoon flooding in Colombo. But the Host Don arrange us to go and visit southern beaches and the mountains. Manager and the staff at the villa were very helpful in getting us transportation and meals delivered. Breakfast was great and was a good introduction to Sri Lankan cosine. thanks for sharing your lovely house with us and wish we could stay longer.

As a family of 8 with parents and grown children plus partners from Germany, Dubai and Singapore and German, English, Portuguese, and Italian nationalities we had a great family reunion in the magnificent villa at Lake Lanka. We enjoyed the space , the facilities, and the service in this place which is ideal for both - a relaxed holiday for a family or location from where to start many day trips to the western, central and southern parts of the island. They also provided excellent taxi service that was with us for the whole time.

The villa is amazing. It is luxurious, comfortable and is actually better than it looks in the pictures. Everything is impeccably clean and well maintained. It is about 45 minutes drive from Colombo but we enjoyed the feeling of isolation in a very safe setting. We partied into the night with loud music and we did not have to worry about disturbing the neighbours. The kitchen is well equipped and we easily cooked a breakfast and dinner for ten people. We did not eat much in the villa since during the day we were sight seeing in Colombo. However, there are a couple of restaurants a few kms away and we saw a few tuktuks on the road outside the villa. The pool is very clean and the water is not chlorinated. We spent a lot of time in it.
Fernando and Mahesh were terrific hosts. We were greeted warmly by them and they could not do enough to make us comfortable. They take real pride in maintaining the villa and it showed on their face. Sri Lankan hospitality at its best.
I interacted with Don during the booking process and he is terrific too. I must have had about a thousand questions and Don was very prompt in replying and very patient :). I found the pre-booking and pre-arrival process very well organised and thanks to Don, I could book the villa with confidence.
Lanka Lake Villa has truly set the bar for our future holidays. It was a spectacular villa made even better by the people involved. My friends and I had an amazing stay and we felt like celebrities enjoying a private little piece of luxury!
