We loved staying in Jim and Karen's place. It's simple perfect location for skiers like our family of 4. I personally loved the kitchen - everything is well maintained and/or new (we made breakfasts and dinners there). Communication with Jim was timely, clear, and on point. He was super generous accommodating for late checkout (super nice not to have to rush out). Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Jim and Karen!

This condo had just the right amount of space for our family of 4. We appreciated the easy access to the gondola and chair lift - we could have a lazy breakfast and still beat the crowds! We were close enough to the village to walk over for dinner and snacks, but far enough that we weren't annoyed by the loud music at night. Check-in/out instructions were very clear and Jim responded to all emails promptly. Thank you for a great stay at Northstar, we're already looking forward to our next trip!

This property was perfect for our stay. We stayed for a baseball tournament and the layout was exactly what we needed. A queen bed and two twin pullouts were perfect for the family of four and the queen bed was for my child and myself. The kitchen was well equipped and the location was fantastic. It was a very short walk to the central part of the resort including shopping, restaurants, and a skating rink. The rec center and pools were a nice reprieve between games. Our hosts were friendly, helpful, and communicated well. Highly recommend this property.

This was a perfect place for our stay with my son and mother in law. There are two full bedrooms, one of which is upstairs and closes from the loft room which has two twin beds and is open to the staircase. The other bedroom is on the main level. Very convenient location just above the village with a nice path to walk there. Can clip in your skis by parking and ski a very short distance to village express and gondola. Unit was comfortable, as described, and as noted in a great location. Also the owner was fantastic! Great communication and very accommodating. Would stay here again on another trip to Northstar. I've stayed at several Northstar properties for ski trips for my family. The place was perfect for our family of 5. The unit was well stocked, clean, and ideally located. But the surprising standout feature was the hosts. They were accommodating and made sure we felt welcome. I would jump at the chance to stay here again. Great time for everyone.

Jim was very helpful in providing a pdf of key info for check-in/out and general how-to for the condo before we arrived. He was flexible and allowed us to check-in early which was very helpful as we needed to be at a wedding rehearsal right after we arrived. The condo looked exactly like the pictures provided and it was an accurate listing. It was a great place with all your basic needs and the best location for accessing the village! This is not a luxury unit but perfect for those that need a cozy place to retreat to after a long day on the mountain. The unit is best for adults and older kids but not large groups. Highly recommend for active adults who don't need all the frills and who plan to be out doing activities most of the day. The weather was mild and we barely ran the heat and didn't need AC. We cooked breakfast each day so it was really nice to have the pots, pans, and dishwasher. Thanks Jim for a wonderful stay!

My 2 daughters and I stayed at this condo March 2023 for spring break skiing. The condo was good, I rate it 4/5 stars. Great location., short downhill walk to lifts and ski village. The beds were comfy. Wish LR TV had Disney+. Nice having free laundry right outside front door, which we used to dry out wet ski gloves. Wish bathrooms had exhaust fans. WI-FI worked great. Ski village was really cool. Recommend Rubicon highly. Pizza and spaghetti there was awesome and service was great. Note that everything except 2 restaurants plus grocery and ice cream place all closed around 5. That was surprising but not a huge deal.

First time at Northstar, and this location cannot be beat. We had some really bad weather during our stay and it was awesome to have access to a gaming station upstairs for my daughter. We also enjoyed playing with the Uno cards and other items to satisfy downtime around the condo. The owner was very communicative and we really appreciated that.

Our family has stayed in various Ski Trails condos about 40 times over the past 15+ years of skiing at Northstar. This unit is one of the best, in my opinion. It is roomy because it has the loft with the additional bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Most importantly, it has been renovated so the kitchen, bathrooms, and place overally is great. The furniture is also fairly new so the beds felt clean and comfortable and we loved the reclining sectional. The communication with the owners was easy and they were prompt to respond when we had a question. They left a welcome note, some snacks, and handwarmers for us which was very thoughtful. The location of the condo is also great for skiing in and out. We really enjoyed the stay.

We stayed here for a week with kids (4 and 6) and had a great time. The gondola is just a few minutes away. The kitchen is great. The third bedroom upstairs is the loft area, which does not have a separate door, but is great for kids. (It does get dark, so if your kids are scared of the dark, maybe bring a night light.)

We had a great stay at this condo and Jim, the host was very accomodating and kind. The location cannot be beat. It is just a few steps to the ski trail and gondola and a short 5 minute walk to the village. Jim described the bedrooms as small but I didn't not think they were particularly small. Had some bumps in the road but the host was fantastic at solving our problems. Our check-in was one day delayed due to a overbooking mistake by the host but the host did a fantastic job of ensuring that we all stayed in a nice hotel near the the ski resort that night. This meant the host had to pay for 3 separate hotel rooms on a last minute notice out of his own pockets. I have never experienced such great customer service even when I stay at 5- star uber luxury hotels. The condo exceeded our expectations and was fully stocked and very close to the ski in and ski out area. The only issue we had was the downstairs toilet has a very light flush and cannot take anything more than liquid waste. The host should encourage guests to use the upstairs bathroom for anything more than liquid waste. Other than that our stay was five stars. We hope to utilize this condo again in the near future.

Location is excellent and 30 minute drive to Lake. Place itself needs some updating upstairs and there is no A/C so it does get hot. If front door is opened in eveni g can get nice breeze but then there's bugs. Fully stocked apartment and excellent responsive host.

We haven’t been to Northstar for years and my how it’s changed! The condo was close to village…perfect for older teens. And easy for us grandparents too. Only two things we would have liked…a kitchen table for games and the queen bed downstairs was too soft for us. The kitchen was well stocked and organized.

My family and I just returned from a spring break holiday at NorthStar with our kids (13), (11) and (8). We had a lovely time skiing and staying at the condo - just up 50 steps from the Village Run/Beach access to the Gondola. The condo was comfortable, cozy and we look forward to a return!
