About this house rental
Between Carcassonne and Revel, quiet (first neighbor 1km), in the countryside, in a landscape of wooded hills, the cottage dominates the plain Lauragaise and opens south, on the Pyrenees, near the Tarn and a few kilometers from the basin of Saint Ferréol. The whole building has been renovated with care and good taste, on the ground floor, the cottage has large openings and a bright interior space.
Ground floor: Large living room with large bay window enjoying a beautiful view of the open landscape, dining room with fitted kitchen, 2 bedrooms with bed 140 cm, for
two people. Shower room with toilets and toilets independent. Laundry room equipped with a washing machine.
Upstairs: attic room with 2 beds 90.
Parking in the property.
The owners live nearby, but without vis-à-vis.
All shops at 10 minutes.

Near perfect for us. Dog friendly, great view of Pyrenees in the distance, walks from the door and lots in the locality. Comfortable furnishings.

We chose Gîte Lestaplou for it's rural location and amazing views over the Lauragais valley and plains. The owner Serge lives in the extensive grounds but the gîte is completely secluded, private and not overlooked. The property is a stone farm building which has been well renovated and extended whilst retaining original features. Everything you need is included and the gîte is well appointed. Dogs are welcome but be advised that the grounds are not fenced. A fantastic outdoor dining area benefits from the shade of the sun and the spectacular view. Serge is a kind and helpful owner, we were left to our own devices for the duration of our stay which was perfect for us. It's 15 mins to nearest supermarket (in Revel) and around an hour to Toulouse, Carcassonne with many attractive villages and walks within easier reach. A really pleasant stay in a a great location.
