About this cottage rental
October 14th, 2025- We have reached the end of a very full May to October Rental Season and we close our house until May...........Returning guests are accommodated 1st...then we open up any available weeks to new guests on VRBO about March 15t
Each year is a challenging year to find a rental property at Goose Rocks Beach with good demand for rental time from guests, coupled with a limited supply of rental properties. May 15th through May 25th, 2025 at $1,300/week
June 2025 - $225.00 night/3 night minimum or $1,500.00/week
July and August 2025 - $2,800.00/week Saturday to Saturday only
September 1st to October 25th, 2025 - $1,500.00/week 3 Day minimum rental
Our A Frame Cottage is located right off King's Highway at #6 Elwyn Lane, Goose Rocks Beach, Kennebunkport, Maine. The house has unlimited views of the ever changing tidal river known as The Little River. The cottage is larger than typically comes to mind with the term A Frame.........The first floor is a wonderful open concept space with living and dining areas enjoying a soaring two story open space. There is a complete kitchen on a 'galley' layout with refrigerator, oven, counter top built in four burner electric range top, dishwasher, and microwave.
The first floor has one bedroom with a double bed, and one bedroom with two twin beds. A full bath with a new tile shower back splash and new tile floor with a tub and shower combo completes the first floor. There is a washer and dryer in a small outdoor shed at the rear of the house.
The second floor, reached by a spiral staircase is a 'master bedroom loft suite' complete with king size bed, small walk in closet, and a 3/4 bath complete with a stall shower. The loft has two wicker chairs for sitting and enjoying the view of the tidal river and the ocean beyond.
The cottage was originally built in 1965 but we have maintained it and updated it with paint and carpet to ensure a comfortable cottage experience.
Goose Rocks Beach is a traditional beach community enjoyed by families for generations. The beach itself, with a public access point, is a short four minute walk from the house. The Goose Rocks Beach Association has four tennis courts right in the beach neighborhood but does require a short term membership. The Town of Kennebunkport has free to the public tennis courts on Beachwood Avenue 4 miles from the house. There are three golf courses with in ten miles of the house. Kennebunkport has many historic homes from the 1700 and 1800's and dozens of unique stores and restaurants.
Come to Goose Rocks Beach and make some seaside memories to last a lifetime.........

Bruce was an absolute sweetheart host, he was right next door and there if you needed him . The cottage and location were just perfect. We loved the clean vintage vibes, it was such a comfy spot to call home for a long weekend. The short walk to the beautiful beach was a must-do every morning. Looking forward to a return trip soon!

The property was very clean. Everything we wanted was in the house, all we had to do was buy groceries. The beach was clean and not overcrowded. The walk was truly just a few steps away. During low tide you can walk out to the nature preserve from goose rocks Beach where you can find lots of tide pools to play and if you have small kids. The location was great and the host was accommodating.
