*Junior the manager was super helpful and friendly all the way through.
*Great location close to the beach, loads of good restaurants and bars
*Next to where the pick up for the bus to Dangriga is

*Seemed a touch dated and the room was a bit damp smelling
*Could do with some thicker curtains to block out the light

Hopkins is gateway to many activities. Due to the flat terrain, i recommend use of a pushbike provided by the host. Water in the room is a sweet add on and a shared shelf in the courtyard of sunsprays is unique. Thank you.

Great location. Near beach and many of restaurants. Very nice common area with sitting area and hammocks. Drinking water provided. Bikes to borrow. Staff was great, answered questions.
No TV in our room. But we weren't on vacation to watch TV

The room and bathroom were nice and clean, and the staff were great. Nice that there were beach towels and a few beach chairs to borrow, and also being able to use the bicycles was very handy. Quite close to a lot of basic restaurants and not too far to walk along the beach to the fancy resorts for a nicer breakfast and good coffee.
We paid, if I remember correctly from 3 months ago, an upgrade to get "kitchen " facilities: this was not the case! Luckily the manager, 'Junior', was able to lend us a hot plate so we could at least make tea, after we bought our own kettle, ( you can't make tea with a coffee percolator!) and occassionally make simple breakfasts. But this place is right on the main Hopkins road, between 2 speed bumps, so the high noise level from lots of traffic accelerating/decelerating early in the morning and well into the evening took a lot of getting used to. Also the noise from the neighbours to the north and the dogs barking was bad at times. The claim that it was, I think it said, "76 paces to the beach" was only accurate if you were 7' 8" and were practicing leaps all the way, after checking for traffic that didn't obey basic rules! We did get used to road rules: there were none in Hopkins. We cannot complain at all about staff service - they were pleasant and helpful.
