Beautiful, vintage, close to so many good places ~ very special place

This is a vintage hotel in an amazing area. I lived in this area for 10 years before moving to Korea 17 years ago and I appreciate what a perfect location this was. In the early eve, I walked to Belmont Shore via the beach side and had Indian food and wine. I drove to Belmont Shore in the morning and hung out in a cafe before checking out. It is close to the pier, to a large supermarket, to the boardwalk, to the beach. The room was absolutely adorable, immaculate, very comfortable bed. I could see the ocean a bit from my window (the hotel is not ocean front but close to the beach). It is clear that somebody very talented with design has worked on this room. There was also a motion sensor lighting on the foot of the bed so when you get out of bed in the dark, soft lighting from this comes on as you pad across the wood floor. Loved it!

It was so good; if you are sensitive to noise, when the morning commute starts, I could hear the cars early. It wasn't an issue at night. I was in the more front building at the hotel.

The room was clean,open, and the amenities(shampoo, body wash, etc smelled good). The mattress was comfortable. Great location and friendly staff.

It was odd to have the clear shower with glass in the bedroom instead of in the bathroom.

It was in a great location. We were right next to several good breakfast places. The staff was very kind and even moved one of our rooms for us.

The shower being in the middle of the room so everyone could see you take a shower because it was glass.

A very decent place in Long Beach

A really nice hotel room, super clean with hot shower and WiFi with some amenities (iron) and a very well equipped supermarket next door. I loved how helpful the staff was when I left behind one thing and returned to retrieve it couple hours later.

I was missing a knife and fork and a coffee maker. Once you have a fridge it would be nice to unpack it on a plate :-) but it is work in progress, I was told. So, good luck!!!

4 night stay, room - spacious and clean, staff - very nice. Location can't be beat I will be back !!

The room was clean, spacious, with modern furnishings, wood flooring and vintage tiling in the very large oversized bathroom and shower. Great location 1/4 block from the beach, grocery store, restaurant and coffee; just 1/2 mile from the vibrant shopping, dining and lounge bar district on 2nd Street. I have stayed here before and will definitely come back for another visit when the time arrises. Very nice little gem of an Inn with a great location !!

I wish they had a coffee maker in the room but there is Outstanding coffee at Portfolio Fit in the lobby of the Iconix Fitness Center less than 1 block away. One other minor thing is that there is often homeless people loitering around the Jack In the Box parking lot just 1/2 block away

The shower needs some sort of privacy film or pony wall. The shower was out in the open and it was uncomfortable showering with another friend in the room. The renovation was beautiful though. The door to the bathroom was hard to close and needs wd40. A coffee Keurig would be nice. The door did lock but ot seemed like it could easily be opened so we put a chair in front of it. I would Def stay here again as the value was great and the room was really really clean. The manager was pretty nice too and gave us some water bottles!

Very disappointing the room was not as pictured on the website.

The room door locked and we were able to park very close to our room due to having a handicap tag.

I called ahead to check in and advised that I would be one hour early. I was told okay and then when I arrived he stated the room was not ready and offered me a queen room when we had reserved a King room. Homeless hung around the courtyard and in the alleyway outside the room begging for food and cigarettes. The room smelled and had a bunch of gnats. They are charging because the beach is not far but the only amenity available is a small refrigerator in the room.

Location is amazing. Room was large.

Very little parking. Our room did not have a door that made the shower area private. We traveled as a family and our kids did not want to be showering for all to see so we had to leave the room every time someone showered. Very inconvenient.

For $375 for one night I got a room that smelled badly. There was a noise coming from the wall. When I asked for another room because of the noise I was told to wait an hour for it to end because it was the washing machine on the other side of the wall. Bathroom was dirty. Hairdryer was full of lint. Moldy planter. They have audacity to charge a $100 deposit. We chose to stay simply because we were simply too tired to find another place. Oh yeah, we got room #7 which is a downstairs room. You could hear the upstairs neighbors stomp and have conversations. This place is not worth over $80 per night, let alone $375! Attached is the exterior where the noise was coming from. The only convenience was that it was next door to the grocery store. Lots of homeless guys. This is not really a good family hotel/motel. As for parking, we have a disables placard so we had a nice spot. Not easy to get out of if someone parked behind us though. They re-use room key-cards.

The room was very nice and had recently been renovated, so everything was sparkling clean and fresh.

It was made to look nice online but it was dingy in real life. The walls & floor were dirty, tv was non-op (my boyfriend had to fix the satellite), not even a keuig. Definitely not worth the price we paid!

Extremely comfortable and easy to find

Loved staying here. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!!!! Friendly service, easy to find great facilities. Close to shops, beach and the bus stopped pretty much right outside. Highly recommend to people to stay here!!!

From start to finish the friendly staff, walking distance to the water, they’re wonderful and comfortable beds for a price that is way lower than the others. I will definitely be staying here again.. 5 STARS

Absolutely nothing. Walking distance to the beach and to the stores and into a boardwalk restaurant.!!! It’s all convenient at this location . I was delighted with everything.

Good location, near great restaurants and the cruise terminal.

The room had stains and marks all over the walls, the bedside tables clearly had not been cleaned, and the bedding was covered in animal hair. The floor was a little sticky in places as well. And the shelf under the sink had been taped back together. Very disappointing.

I like people that very nice. I like the gals that are in the cleaning service. They’re amazing super sweet funny. Here alone so little chitchat with those girls made my day. I think that the management is very nice and polite.
