Enjoy the custom designed and built Pool with a swim-up bar, plenty of furniture and loungers, covered outdoor kitchen area with BBQ, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth speaker system, Netflix TV, and refrigerator. Relax and Enjoy!!

Please Note: While we do welcome families with older teens, a minimum age of 12+years for children applies. (Please call if younger. Possible exceptions made pending occupancy of other bungalows)
The bungalow sleeps 4 comfortably with a queen size bed in each room. Kitchenette with fridge, microwave, coffee pot, small electric cooktop and dishes. If there is anything else you might need, just let us know and we'll have it to you in a jiffy, as we're on property and available most all of the time! (Iron, blow-dryer, just ask!). Super Safe Location. WIFI, Netflix in each bedroom, cold A/C, bathroom amenities, beach towels, etc.
Need a rental car? We offer a fully insured Kia Sportage SUV 4wd only for our guests at US$75.00 per day!
Let us know if you would like to have snacks or refreshments ready and waiting in the fridge for your arrival. All beverage products (Sodas, Ice cold Belikin beers, wonderful Local Wines and Liquor are available), fresh fruits, chips & salsa, cheese, goodies…really anything you can think of, we can have waiting. For your convenience, this will be billed separately at cost plus a US$20.00 fetching fee.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
The Gecko Bungalow is nestled back off the main drag in a terrific Safe neighborhood area called Lake Gardens! Treat your stay as your very own Home away from Home!
GETTING AROUND:
We are located about 2 miles from the Phillip Goldson International Airport (but you will never hear any planes!) We are happy to provide Free courtesy pick up and drop off for you to and from the Phillip Goldson International Airport. Just send us your flight information before your arrival.
The Gecko Bungalow is about 15 miles from the heart of Belize City, in the town of Ladyville. From here you are 1.5 hours away from Corozal Belize and Chetumal Mexico, just over the border to the North. Three hours to the South, enjoy the sands of Placencia and another hour past that to beautiful Punta Gorda.
Nearby adventures include Altun Ha Mayan ruins with fantastic photo opportunities at the top of ancient structures. Also, take a tour to the awesome Lamani Mayan ruins. After an easy drive, you'll hop on a boat and tour down the river, Jumanji style until you land at one of our larger Mayan ruin villages, Lamani. Enjoy an included, served picnic lunch and take a guided tour. About 30 minutes from the Gecko Bungalow you can visit the incredible Zoo (more of a Rescue Sanctuary) to see virtually all of the wild animals of Belize. Plan your day right and enjoy a mainland "must-do" Cave Tubing adventure and an exhilarating zip line excursion! A short drive to the city and you can hop a boat to one of our islands for a day trip, or take a backpack and spend the night so that you can snorkel at the Hol Chan Nature reserve and Shark Ray Alley! For our nature lovers, take a drive to the Botanical Gardens at Cockscomb Nature Preserve or explore the jungles in San Ignacio....So much to see and do, let us help you plan your itinerary!
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
You'll definitely want a rental car unless you want to tackle the local bus system or use shuttle companies which can get expensive. If you ever wondered where the old school buses in the states go to die, it's here! They're not real comfortable and make frequent stops.
Because of this, we can offer For rent at $75.00usd per day and exclusively to our guests an insured Kia Sportage 4WD for you're use. We don't charge any hidden fees the other guys charge do!

We arrived in Belize early, and contacted Scott and Michelle, they gave us recommendations for a great restaurant while they were getting our bungalow ready for an early check in. The lovely house keeper, unfortunately was sick and couldn't come to work, but you would never know it. Scott managed like a boss! Not only was he the housekeeper, but the concierge, shuttle driver, and host!The moment we walked through the gate, it was a fun, funky, campy, paradise! " Alexa, play yacht rock" ! The gecko pool was crystal clear and we were greeted by the most awesome pool keeper Luci Lizard. We were a party of 3 in the gecko bungalow, 2 bedrooms, well appointed, bright and clean decor. There was a small kitchen, but had everything we needed, mostly congregated in the outdoor grill kitchen poolside! Scott and Michelle were responsive to all of our questions and needs, and had contacts for everything from tours to taxi service. If we are ever blessed to return to Belize, this is where we will stay! 10 out of 10 recommend!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom bungalow and it was perfect. The pool was fantastic and the grounds were lovely , especially at night when lights came on. Michelle and Scott were wonderful hosts. Close to airport but never heard planes. Highly recommend this place...
