Year round custom built home on 6+ acres with open floor plan and lakefront access. Three bedrooms, two full baths with plenty of room for your relaxing family vacation. Vaulted ceilings, massive blue-stone fireplace in the Great Room and skylights throughout the house. Short walk to the lake to enjoy swimming, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, ice skating and snowmobiling.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to prepare your gourmet meals plus an outdoor gas grill. Breathtaking perennial gardens, endless wraparound and enclosed porches and true Adirondack serenity to relax and enjoy the beautiful music from nearby Luzerne Music Center. Landline phone and wireless internet available.
Plenty of Adirondack High Peaks and hiking trails within just a few minutes or up to two hours for adventurous outdoor families. Luzerne has a quaint downtown area with a small market, drug store, post office, restaurants, bank, public library, tennis courts and churches. Twenty-five minute drive to Saratoga Race Course, Saratoga Casino & Raceway, Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), Glens Falls and much more. Many nearby attractions including whitewater rafting/tubing on the Hudson & Sacandaga Rivers, hiking, climbing, kayaking, weekly local concerts during summer months, horseback riding, rodeo, golf, history and local winery tours. Within 20 minutes of Lake George attractions (Steamboat trips, Fort William Henry, Great Escape, Magic Forest, boating, scuba diving, parasailing, etc.), outlet shopping and many restaurants. We had a wonderful stay at the Conway family's home. The house is amazing, and we especially appreciated the kitchen, which made clear that there are serious cooks in the family who use the kitchen themselves. I found it by searching focused on Saratoga Springs and Lake George, but I'm so glad to have found this home on Lake Luzerne. It provides an idyllic home base with easy access to to both Saratoga Springs and Lake George. Lake Luzerne is a gem for swimming and kayaking, with echoes of the nearby music school an added bonus. And loons! We loved hearing them and we were even more excited to see them when we cautiously approached at a respectful distance in kayaks. We six guests all agreed that this is a perfect place to for our annual friends' reunion. Thank you for hosting us!

We had a wonderful week at the Hill House on Lake Luzerne. Idyllic setting, quiet, a short stroll to the water. Lake was beautiful and we kayaked (kayaks available from the hosts) and swam and just sat by the water at times. The house was gorgeous and comfortable and we had everything we needed to cook, eat, hang out, play games. There's a lovely screened in porch as well. Terri, the host, was fantastic. She gave us many tips about the area for some great places to hike, a kayaking adventure, and more. Couldn't have asked for a better family get-away. Plus a shoutout to Ollie, the SUP dog!

Kara is a great host and have a beautiful house, with all that you need if you want to have a vacation without using your car. it's over the lake and kayaks are available. we will definitely be back
