Our family had a wonderful stay. The cabin was fully equipped with everything you could ask for and very clean. River access was a bonus! We enjoyed hanging down by the water and enjoying the view. Host was excellent at answering any questions we had when booking and very accommodating. Highly recommend

The house was great … lots of space … kitchen was super well equipped … beds were comfy … bathrooms were clean … the overall property was amazing with a beautiful front porch and back deck .. hot tub was great … the fire pit was enjoyed … we especially loved the short walk to the river and spending time skipping rocks, enjoying the peacefulness .. and was in awe of an eagle that soared by us!Wi-fi service was available. The host was great … good communication, responding immediately to questions in advance, checking in to be sure all was ok.My 3 year old niece was very sad to leave … she thought this was their new home that they would be living in. I would highly recommend this home.

Was a great relaxing stay with a few best of friends. It is a little walk to the river but a cute path leads the way. Pick up a walking stick to help yourself get to the water’s edge and enjoy the day watching the birds and wildlife.

We enjoyed a great weekend at this cabin. The weather was great. The cabin itself was clean & very accommodating. We had a nice few days with family. We got to spend a lot of time lounging in the river nearby. Campfires every night & sitting outside on the deck. It was a very enjoyable time!! Thank you .. !!

The rental was great lots of room to spread out. The hot tub was well maintained. Rooms were good size and the kitchen was stocked well. Check in was a breeze and our host was fantasti! I would recommend

It's a great house, everything you need for a family get away. The beds are a little harder than we are used to but it's a great setup. Some cute lights outside around the fire so you can see better at night would be great. We would stay again!

Our extended family enjoyed our stay! Fixed great dinners in the well equipped kitchen and BBQ. Very clean and neat house, short walk down to the river. We enjoyed a Kayak trip on the river and a bike ride on a local PA Rail Trail. Communication with the host was great - highly recommended place to stay!!

We just had a relaxing weekend for my daughters bachelorette weekend, just to relax and enjoy the time together family and her bridesmaids before the big day. Had a little excitement with a small snake coming in the front door but my niece got it out. It was a really a fun filled weekend

This was our second stay & I can't say enough good things about the house & location. The furnishings & decorations are tasteful, the kitchen is well-stocked, & there are a choice of places to gather or be apart. It's a gem!

The host was super, she responded to questions very quickly. The house even had a generator in the event of a power outage, which occurred for an hour or so on our stay. So the generator was much appreciated. We didn’t have to do anything the generator started up when power was lost and turned itself off when power was restored. The house had a lot of living space plus a screened deck off the back. Very nice house and we had a nice stay

This was the perfect weekend trip for our family and friends. The house was clean and very well taken care of; we all felt super comfortable. The fireplace and hot tub provided such a cozy touch - we enjoyed them both! Our kiddos loved walking around the property and exploring near the creek. On our first evening, we enjoyed dinner on the screened-in porch which was such a pleasant way to enjoy the fresh air and sounds of nature. Having a bedroom on one end of the house and the two on the other was a perfect setup for our crew since our 1.5 year old woke up a few times throughout the night - our friends didn't hear a thing. Virginia was super communicative and easy to talk with. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

We had such a nice relaxing stay! Plenty of space for 7 adults. Enjoyed the hot tub and walk to the river. The house was nicely divided into two areas which was nice for half of the group that wakes early and the others that like to sleep in. Loved the screened in porch. Owners were helpful and responded quickly. Very centrally located to Clear Creek and Cook Forest. Very clean and well maintained home.

The location within a short walk to the Clarion River was lovely and very quiet. We enjoyed the unique layout of the house, which accommodated our families and allowed for some separate spaces. The screened in porch leading on to the deck was a favorite hang out for reading, listening to music and sharing meals. And it was still cool enough in April to allow us use of the cozy fireplace in the evenings.There are a lot of outdoor activities in the area, but honestly we just enjoyed chill-axing at the house more than anything over our long Easter weekend reconnecting with adult kids and our grandson.

Needed to get away a few days. This was a nice place to decompress and enjoy the deer and birds. Enjoyed the hot tub in the snow. And coffee by the fireplace! Clarion River was a short walk through the woods. Took a ride down the road and saw an eagle.

Cottage is comfotable and clean, the river is a short walk through the woods, outdoor space includes a deck, 3 season room, hot tub, and fire ring. Very nice. Kitchen is well equipped, however skimpily stocked. No sugar, aluminum foil, basic spices? Even the salt shakers were empty. A starter bundle of fire wood would have been appreciated.

My family really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed with our two young children (3 & 4yo). We loved the proximity to all the hiking trails but being far enough away to be secluded and quiet. The size of the house was perfect to allow the kids room to run around and play. Being right on the river was fantastic! The only struggle we had was with the steep grade getting down to the river from the yard. With no clear path, the drop off made it difficult to manage, especially with the young kids, but we made it work. Virginia was a wonderful host, and made everything very easy. While we no longer have a dog to join us on our trips like we have in the past, I love how inviting this property and host was for dogs. My black lab would have absolutely adored the access to the river and the large yard. I would 100% recommend this place!

We have rented several cabins in the area and this was our favorite by far. Great location - the kids lived the yard and campfire. We had a great time fishing and canoeing and coming home to the hot tub was an added bonus. Plenty of space to unpack and unwind. Looking forward to a future stay!

Fulfilled our hopes and beyond with full kitchen, cozy seating, plenty of room for family time and privacy. Love the picturesque backyard trees with fairytale path to river. This rental worked out well for our annual family fall weekend with our adult children and their spouses. The house is in a beautiful and peaceful wooded setting. We had great weather so we enjoyed the amenities of the hot tub, fire pit, and screened in porch. The steps to the kitchen and bathrooms were a bit of a challenge with a sprained knee.
