About this house rental
June and July: require a minimum of six nights and are available for check-in on Fridays or Mondays. Weekends in June and July are booked only when they do not present a possible time loss. All other months are more flexible, but there is a 2-night minimum. Please contact the owner for any questions regarding reservations or prices.

WHAT WE PROVIDE
Bed linens, mattress pads, pillows, blankets, basic cooking and eating utensils, coffee pot, and toaster.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
All food and drinks, paper goods (paper towels, paper plates, toilet paper), trash bags, towels, washcloths, all personal items, laundry detergent, fabric softener, umbrella or canopy and chairs for the beach, drink koozies, wagon, sunscreen, insect repellent, first aid items charcoal, and lighter fluid.
CLEAN-UP ON DEPARTURE
The cleaning fee is $200. We do ask that you remove and dispose of all garbage into outside cans. All dishes, pots, and silverware be washed and put up. Do not leave anything in the dishwasher, freezer, refrigerator, dryer or washing machine.
NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE
Please limit smoking to the downstairs outdoor areas and dispose of cigarette butts properly.
RESERVATIONS
50% of the rental fee is due within 7 days of the date of booking. If the deposit is not received within seven days of the date of booking, the reservation will be canceled without notice. The remainder of the balance is due within 14 days of your arrival. Failure to make the final payment will result in your reservation being canceled and any monies we received will not be refundable.
Rentals are for family groups only. We do not rent for Proms, Bachelor/Bachelorette parties, weddings, receptions, or graduations. Rates are based on sleeping capacity. There are to be no more persons than the stated sleeping capacity unless previously agreed upon by the owners. Doing so may result in forfeiture of the deposit or cancellation of the reservation with no refunds.
The renter is responsible for all damages caused by renters and/or guests.
CANCELLATIONS
A 30-day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will receive a full refund. Cancellations 14 days prior to stay will receive a 50% refund. Stays less than 14 days will receive no refund.

This place was perfect for my whole family!The location was great!,walk to the beach was about 3-5 minutes. We enjoyed the house and beach for our end of summer family vacation. The house overall was nice and the property owner's were very easy to reach and accommodating.

The house was in a quiet neighborhood and close to the beach. The listing said the house had been renovated? This was not obvious to us. The ceiling in the living room has a line of tape and bedding coming off, ceiling fans are covered in layers of dust that fly through the air when turned on, two ceiling fans in bedrooms don't provide enough air since they don't have a high speed. Two of the bedrooms are missing smoke detectors. The furniture and beds are worn out and need updating. The pots and pans are also worn out. We were glad we brought our own. The house says it sleeps 16, but there were only 8 forks and numerous spoons and knives. Upon arrival the top two bunk beds were not made up so we had to make them ourselves. Hard to do this when you are over 60. No where in the description did it say this house was about 100 yards from a slough (marsh) which generated a mosquito problem day and night. We could not enjoy the balconies, swing, or kids playing in the yard. (grass was also very high and had not been cut). We discovered the first night that we all should have packed sleep masks as the neighbor's outside lights shine in all the windows so it is like daylight while trying to sleep. Directv was available downstairs only, but not upstairs. We could only get Netflix upstairs.
So overall we had a good time, but expected better from the property listing. These comments are intended as constructive feedback so owner can improve these things to make the property more enjoyable. We had a great time in spite of these flaws.
