Newly Renovated Cottage On Main Street - Professionally Sanitized

Very clean, quiet, and welcoming property. Our host was more than hospitable and communication was excellent. My wife and I highly recommend this as your next stay, you won't be disappointed!

Rodney was very helpful answering questions. The house is in a great location, within walking distance to town for Resturants & stores. I would suggest to buy groceries before arriving as there are no big chain of stores, or small stores. Due to the small cottage not being ready for guests, Rodney graciously upgraded us to the main house. The main house was enormous & we really enjoyed the extra space as the cottage is very small. Our dog enjoyed the waterview while sitting on the upstairs deck. This house is dated, but clean & would work great for families. Thank you Rodney for all your help ! Lisa, Rick & Bruno

Exactly what I needed for short trip

I do not like to give "bad" reviews; however, calling this "newly renovated" is deceptive. Possibily, it is the exterior they are referring to. The interior leaves much to be desired. It is dreary, could use a good scrubbing (placing a paper label across a toilet that says sanitized means nothing)....there was dust and animal (?) hair on the books, the window blinds had broken slats that allowed the light from the adjacent house to shine through during the night, the windows were dirty, the screens were dirty and had holes through them (luckily, it wasn't summer & we didn't need to open the windows, allowing bugs in). The kitchen was a hotplate, but there was a microwave. Glasses and plates looked dirty (I washed everything we used prior to using it)On to some positives: the heating worked very well, the bed was comfortable, linens and towels were clean, the location was very convenient. I will not re-book this location.
