About this cabin rental

Quiet neighborhood. Located .26 miles to the Lake (walking), public beach, and boat launch. 2.4 miles from skiing at Heavenly and to Stateline (casinos, shopping, and night life). Two blocks from the South Lake Recreation Center with year-round heated pool, ice rink, basketball court, gym, and children's park. Safeway, Starbucks, and excellent food only a 7 minute walk. Ski shuttle to Heavenly Ski Resort picks you up a few blocks away.

Beginning Nov 1, 2021, rental periods must be a 30 night minimum.

I was there with my besties for our annual girls weekend. We loved the place. Everything was perfect! The rooms were great, the kitchen perfect (well stocked) and the location central to everything. We hope to stay their again next year!

The host were very good getting back to us, she said we were the first guest from the east coast, of course we didn't know if we were going to be able to stay because of the evacuation. Luckily it all worked out. More then enough room for the six of us, would stay there again if we visit lake Tahoe in the future

The house was perfect for our family - my wife and I + adult children and their spouses. House was quaint / old South Lake Tahoe - endearing to all of us with pine walls, etc. We were out and about during the day and found the living room area / dining /kitchen areas great for gathering before going to bed. Walked to the beach where you can rent paddle boards. Drove to trailhead up to Eagle Lake - Beautiful. Looking forward to returning for skiing in a winter or two!

We loved this place! It’s in a quiet neighborhood and is a cute and cozy cabin. The owner had excellent communication about our stay. The beds were really comfortable. The living room was perfect for us to hang out when we were relaxing after a fun day at the beach. At first we were worried about the heat upstairs without having an AC. However, it cools down really well at night. We opened the windows and each room has a fan as well which helped cool the rooms down. We will definitely be back!

The property was a nice location. The rules were clear. Communication with the owners was good. The house does need air conditioning but it was made clear it didn't have it. There were fans in every room, however which helped. There was one portable swamp cooler. The upstairs gets really hot but it was also the middle of summer. Thank you for an accurate stay.

Fantastic location can walk to a beach and store. Older house, has some quirks - upstairs level is small - upstairs bathroom super tiny but the bedrooms are nice. Neighborhood had bears during our stay — must follow all bear precautions!

Another great trip to Tahoe. The house was as advertised and had great room for my wife and I, her parents and my five year old daughter. Jocelyn always kept me posted on any small things including how to get a small swamp cooler that really helped the sleeping conditions. She also was very helpful and went out her way to assist me with a bank issue. Highly recommend this place!

We couldn’t have asked for a better rental experience. The property was in our ideal location from what we were there for. The neighborhood alone was fun and offered a taste of living in the area. Which always adds to the vacation. The house offered everything we were looking for. The property was clean and we felt “at home”. The communication with the owners was top notch, upon securing the reservation. Everything was fully explained and outlined. Thus providing us an enjoyable experience staying at their rental property. Even during our trip- the owner reached out to offer some suggestions on handling the unusual weather Lake Tahoe was experiencing during our trip. In addition, the owner followed up after our stay. Thanking us. Overall a very pleasant and positive experience staying at this rental property. Truly enjoyed all aspects of the experience renting through VRBO and this location in particular.

This one is a winner. A great traditional Tahoe cabin with all the amenities. Comfortable beds for all, well equipped kitchen, all in a great location. The ground floor bed and bath made it easy to bring my 94 year old mom who has mobility issues. Jocelyn was great to deal with during the rental process. Many thanks for a great stay.

I especially like the location of this property which is walking distance to everything- grocery, food, beach area and even biking rentals which we did. We love that it has 4 rooms which gives privacy to 4 couples. Checking in and out is easy and easy to communicate to owner. Will keep this in mind for future when we come back.

We had a great time in Tahoe for the long weekend! We would have given five stars however the washing machine was broken (we were informed ahead of time), and we had a little snafu with check-in, however Jocelyn was very responsive and apologetic. Pricing was very fair and affordable, even with having just 4 of us in the space. The neighborhood was very quaint as well.

It was really enjoyable when we stayed at the cabin. Jocelyn was super great when I had questions she even gave me some advice on where to take my kids and they had a blast. This was our first Tahoe trip and a big reason it was great is because of the cabin. It was clean cozy and my sons enjoyed it. I will for sure be going back to this cabin in the future.

Great place! Its just the right size. Big enough for everyone to fit, but small enough to feel at home. Close to everything. Very kid friendly. Jocelyn was great at communicating with me and any questions I had. Very organized and had a large movie selection! Would definitely recommend this place!

We had one of the most relaxing Christmas at Jocelyn’s cabin. It was so cozy with everything you need if you are traveling with kids. Jocelyn was so kind she even left some goodies under the Christmas tree for us. The location is perfect if you want to have a stroll by the beach and so close to everything. We will definitely save this place for our next trip to Tahoe!

We had a wonderful time at Bijou Pines. It is in a quiet old wooded neighborhood, but within walking distance of food, groceries, the community center, the library and the Lake! It was comfortable in size and amenities. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, mugs and dishes, spices, utensils, etc. We had a good time playing games on the table in the back yard. Jocelyn responded quickly to questions. We would stay again.
