The North Tower of Barefoot Resort is located at 4801 Harbour Pointe Drive in North Myrtle Beach. This is a stunning 3bd/3ba condo is on the 9th floor has incredible views of the Intracoastal Waterway and the marina! This unit has 2 master suites that overlook the Inland Waterway. Each of the master suites has a king size bed and direct access to the balcony and its incredible views. The 3rd bedroom has 2 full beds. This unit sleeps a maximum of 8 people. This unit has a fully equipped kitchen with new cabinets and granite counter tops (installed 2017). New carpeting in entire unit (installed 2017). There are also flat screen TV's, with cable, in the living room and all 3 bedrooms.
This resort has huge pool with a covered hot tub. The property is located right behind Barefoot Landing which has tons of shops and restaurants including Greg Norman's Australian Grill and Umberto's. Entertainment venues include the Alabama Theater and House of Blues. During the summer months, you can enjoy fireworks over the waterway right from the balcony. Beach chairs and umbrellas can be rented (seasonally) from the lifeguards stationed on the beach.
Barefoot Resort has four pro-designed, world-class golf courses - The Norman course, The Davis Love course, The Dye course & The Fazio course. These courses and clubhouses are a golfers dream come true. Only minutes away from nightlife, casino boat gambling in Little River, Ripley' Aquarium, Carolina Opry & Dolly Parton's Pirate Voyage. Jet skies, boats and short term rental of boat slips are available at the marina. Many fishing boats and scuba shops are in the area as well. Enjoy nearby beaches with easy public access and free parking. A general aviation airport, Grand Strand Airport, with car rentals and a public boat landing are also nearby.

We had an absolutely amazing stay and I would highly recommend to anyone. The location could not have been better. Within 30 minutes of just about everything. The balcony overlooked the large pool, intercoastal waterway, and Barefoot Landing. At night time, Barefoot Landing was beautiful with all the lights. Some nights we could sit on our balcony and hear live music and see the firework show. Everything was super clean and extremely roomy. The only thing I would say for guest coming to stay is to make sure, if you like extra pillows, then bring them with you. Both king size beds only had two pillows and then the two decorative pillows. We usually don’t sleep on the decorative pillows so essentially you have one pillow a piece. We had to go to Walmart to get more. Other than that, it was hands down one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed and we will be back!

The balcony was a family favorite, the pool was awesome for the littler kids beacause its 3-4 ft deep all the way around. We had a great time, awesome stay.

Enjoyed our stay, Barefoot Resort truly is a great location and the conveniences of staying at the North Tower is second to none. The major disappointment was the cleanliness of the condo. Prior to my visit I had read 2 reviews of families that had just stayed there just before my stay that complained about the condo not being cleaned. I contacted the property manager with my concern and asked if this was addressed with house housekeeping and they assured me that it was. However, it was clear that it was not. Other than the linens it appeared as if the condo had not been cleaned for quite some time. I did not follow up with management which I should have but we ended up wiping all the counters down and cleaning what we could without sacrificing too much of our time so we could enjoy our vacation. To another reviewer’s point, I understand that finding help is hard right now but then the responsibility should fall on the property management team. We paid to stay in a unit where you are charged a housekeeping fee where it’s clearly evident the home was not cleaned. We did not allow this to ruin our stay, we did enjoy all that Barefoot Resort has to offer and do still believe it’s a great place to stay. I hope that with these last few reviews that the owner and/or property management will rectify the issue so that future families can really enjoy their stay at this unit.
