Loft 1910 - Kazimierz Echoes

I only have 3 star on the check in as we struggled to get the main door open. We did the code like the notes indicated but the door wouldn’t open and we only got access as someone came out. The unit was clean and as indicated in the ad. The unit did have air conditioning however the remote was in a bench drawer and not in the holder which we had to search for in order to turn on the ac unit. We do have a suggestion as we drove into Krakow with a rental car and while the unit listing said parking available it is not clear what that availability is. Upon research we found a secure 24/7 lot a 5 min walk from the front door. We parked our car there for 3 days which was more convenient than plugging the street meter or possibly parking in a restricted area. A suggestion would be to leave a welcome piece of paper with a few of these parking options listed. The unit was in a perfect location to walk between the 3 main zones of Krakow. We did not notice either street noise or other unit noise during the evenings. There is a nice wine bar directly across the street with a very friendly owner.

Great location to explore, 2 grocery shops within 50 meters. Several restaurants within 2 minutes walk.Apartment was clean and light and airy bedroom, bed was comfortable ( could do with bigger duvet as is same size as matress. There are 75 steps upto the Apartment from ground floor. We went on a weekend where there were 2 bank holidays in Poland so a bit of street noise as party goers walked up the street.Definitely recommend as a decent place to stay and explore.

Wonderful location. Restaurants and mini markets were within blocks. Loved the apartment and the parks everywhere.

This would have been 5 stars across the board, but my experience with the host could not corroborate that. The location (once found) was great! The space is large and clean. It is a few floors walk up, which was ok for me but maybe not be for others (this should be mentioned on the posting). The communication with the host was lacking. I was never given the full address of the apartment until two hours AFTER check-in time, when I finally had to text him multiple times. He claimed the address was in the details (it wasn’t and the message he sent me was a template welcome message with an empty blank space for the address ). The details at that point just had a street and neighborhood and zip code. This caused a lot confusion for me as a non native speaker and caused me to checkin two hours late. Additionally, he seemed to be put out that I couldn’t find the location and needed assistance Instead of being helpful.
