Sometimes dreams do come true, and we would love to share our dream with you for your own family retreat at Bluewater Dream.
This beautiful home is filled with everything you could possibly want for a wonderful beach vacation. There is a private pool and 6 person hot tub, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, jetted tub in the top floor master bath, a game room with wet bar and a screened porch with wonderful lighthouse views. Recent upgrades are Trex deck furniture, a Mesh WiFi system and Roku added to all TVs. New in 2024: Quiet LG Dishwasher and new washer and clothes dryer. Deck surfaces were also renewed. There is a new 5 person Hot Tub for 2025.
We chose this house for its perfect location in the charming Northern Outer Banks, with its upscale atmosphere, beautiful private beaches, convenient shopping, lots of family activities and restaurants.
This home site is nestled on a quiet cul de sac on the Sound side of the exclusive Ocean Hill Community, with a beautiful ocean front community pool facility. Across the street from Bluewater Dream is the (optional) fitness center, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, a playground, basketball courts, Crystal Lake and the sound side community pool. The ocean is an 8-10 minute walk, or you can pack the kids and beach chairs in the car and drive 1 minute to the ocean front facility parking lot where you can enjoy the private beach and community pool, and take advantage of the snack bar or of course, soak up the sun on the beach.
Access to the 4 x 4 beaches is only a half mile north! So, you can pack your own (or a rental) 4-wheel drive vehicle with lunch and spend the day on the beautiful beaches that stretch for miles. In season, you will need a Currituck County permit to park on the 4 x 4 beaches. Be sure to watch for the wild horses of Corolla! The Villages at Ocean Hill is at the end of highway 12, so the pace is slower. This location is a real gem!
1st Floor: A King bedroom is located here with an en suite bathroom, which is great for anyone wanting to LIMIT THE USE OF STAIRS. There is a separate game room with Sofa and easy chairs, wet bar, microwave and mini fridge with foosball table, LED TV and PLAY STATION 3! Access to the pool area and hot tub and of course, the outdoor shower, is here. There is also a gas grill for your convenience.
2nd Floor: There are 4 large bedrooms on this level. Two have king beds. One bedroom has a queen bed and one has 2 queen beds. Each pair of bedrooms shares a full bathroom. The full-size washer and dryer are located on this level. And there is a full length second floor deck with Trex Deck Chairs, Rocking chairs, a Table and Chairs and a kids size picnic table.
3rd Floor: This floor features a King bedroom with a En Suite bathroom, that features a separate shower and jetted jacuzzi tub.
Since this is a reverse floor plan, the top floor features the great room living area with Lazyboy recliner sofa, the dining area and a modern kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a large breakfast bar. There is also a screened porch with table and chairs, gorgeous lighthouse views, and a large deck overlooking the pool area that features Trex loungers and Adirondack Chairs.
There is also a half bath on the landing to serve this area.
Loft: The loft, or ships watch, is a great little get away with a comfortable day bed and trundle.

We do allow pets, up to 2 dogs. The pet fee is $250 for 1 or 2 pets.

Our private pool is open approximately May 15 through October 15.
Guests should plan to provide beach towels, paper products, cleaning/personal items and kitchen trash bags.

The house was very spacious and was well stocked with plentiful kitchen supplies, games, etc. Each room was comfortable and had a TV, which was great. The basement/game area was great for a play space for the kids and we also really enjoyed the hot tub. House is in a good location (if you’re not looking for ocean front), with close proximity to grocery stores, putt putt, shopping, and access to wild horse viewing. Communication with the owner was very helpful, prompt, and much appreciated. The only downside was the number of mosquitoes throughout the complex and the outdoor spaces; however given the proximity to the sound and surrounding marsh, not much to be done for that. We had a great time and would recommend this house for large groups!

Loved our stay, the pictures are accurate, kitchen had everything we needed, enjoyed the screened porch for coffee and breakfast. The walk to the beach was easy, unfortunately weather was not the best so no real beach days. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and feeding the turtles .

Our time at Bluewater Dream was great. Great house, great location, and the owners were so easy to work with. There were ten of us and we had plenty of room. My favor space was the screened in deck. Great place to eat our meals. The house was an easy walk/Golf cart ride to the beach. The owner graciously supplies bikes, beach chairs, pool toys etc. One of the things we liked most was being so close to the lakefront public pool. It was never crowded. We used it daily. I definitely recommend Bluewater Dream. Thank you Bill and Linda!!
