About this house rental
Sited on 2 private acres on a mesa overlooking the Sangre de Cristos mountains, this 5,400 sq ft home is filled with numerous New Mexican style touches. Intimate enough for a couple yet spacious and functionally designed for a group or family, highlights include an open kitchen/dining/television area, an elegant living room, a roomy master suite, two additional comfortable bedrooms with private baths, and a well equipped exercise room. Gas fireplaces in several rooms create additional warmth and festivity. All of this opens to lovely gardens in the front entrance courtyard and to a spacious east facing portal with dining and lounging areas, gas grill and a six person hot tub. Soothingly cool plaster walls, heated stone flooring, classic beam ceilings, and handsome finishes accentuate each room, creating a magical, relaxed, and unaffected ambiance. Plentiful windows and skylights create a gorgeous natural glow within and allow for appreciation of the marvelous surroundings and breathtaking views. The property is located behind a private security gate in a quiet area just outside the City of Santa Fe limits, very near the Santa Fe Opera house. The central plaza in Santa Fe is less than a ten minute drive from the house.

“Stunning Views” is an understatement! My family rented this property for the week of Thanksgiving for a get away to enjoy time together, new experiences, and spend the days outdoors! And I won’t overlook the excellent service we received! By far the best I’ve had with Vrbo or competitors ever. Melissa was fantastic checking in with us regularly; her hospitality and attention to detail (even with the holidays) was appreciated by everyone. The patio was my favorite place to be, while other enjoyed staying toasty by the fire. The kitchen was too amazing to not cook in! So we cooked most days and even grilled burgers outside. I would like to call out that one member of our family had some mobility issues and the home easily accommodated him. All rooms were on the same floor as the entry and garage. And two rooms had walk-in showers which was also very important. Each room having their own en suite was perfect for everyone’s comfort. Sonos sound system was really cool throughout the house. The home and furnishings were pure quality w/ great art. The property is within walking distance of hiking/mountain bike trails. I went on a 4 mile run encountering a few others walking dogs. I could see tire tracks but did not run into any bikers. Maps are posted and GPS on my cell worked like a charm, so I never got lost. Tesuque Market Village is an absolute must during your visit. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and have the best Pozoles!10/10 Would rent again!

It's amazing. Just fabulous. Even better, don't book it. That way, I can go back when I want. You will not find a better representation of Santa Fe.
