About this house rental
Perfect for a large family or just a couples getaway. This filtered lake view home offers space to stretch out both inside and out. The house is walking distance to the private dock and beach as well as to town and the ever popular Sticks and Stones restaurant. It is just a 45 min drive South to Saratoga Springs and a half hour to Gore Mountain. The house also has access to NYS snowmobile trail system. The spacious yard offers a large fire pit, a pong table, and lots of space to throw around a ball. The 5th bedroom is located in a private guest house which also includes a full bath. The kitchen is fully equipped to make a large dinner or heat up leftovers. The house includes 3 televisions to allow for variety if needed. Please check the calendar as 12/31 and 07/04 weeks have been booked. Weekly rental in summer months (Saturday to Saturday)

Good location lots of room for parking cars ,playing games and having campfire. House was well equipped and roomy.No air was a little issue since we hit a hot week but everything cooled down later in the night . The only issue was the walk down the hill to the dock and beach was a little far and coming back up the hill was a killer for the older people. Docking was o.k. but having 4 boats on a dock was a little tight. Lake access was a little tight but was manageable. Close to town and restaurants was a plus.

We had a fantastic time at this property. The property owner (Joe) has a wonderful place and obviously has taken very good care of it … but this is managed by Vacasa - a management company; so you never really interact with the owner, just with a property management company and there is no “personal” touch; it’s all business to them. One of the main positives of most VRBO’s vs. hotels, motels, etc. is the personal touch of getting to know the owner, etc. vs dealing with a business. That being said, we would definitely stay here again!!!

Lots of space to spread out. We lived the small town of Schroon. Lake access was great.
