Designed for privacy and exclusivity, Villa Tatutina is a spectacular tropical estate that has been described as one of the finest and most unique properties in all of the Bahamas: “The Very Best in Island Living”. Located on Abaco Island (the out-islands), the property is close to the US mainland and other "touristy" areas of the Caribbean, but upon arrival, you will see that it's truly a world away. This oasis is not for everyone - there are no cruise ships, high-rises or crowds. This is an opportunity for a unique vacation, set at your own pace, to experience authentic destinations and activities that are off-the-beaten path.
The estate is situated on beautifully landscaped and gated grounds overlooking the harbour where the views and sunsets are breathtaking. The estate offers every amenity expected of a true luxury residence. The tropical gardens surrounding the property are extraordinary. Massive royal palms and lush highbred tropical foliage are in such abundance you have to see to believe. Outdoor entertaining areas include a towering pavilion that overlooks a beautiful infinity pool accented with hand painted tiles and cascading waterfalls over rock formations. This spectacular area has a fabulous view of the harbor. A back-up generator, air conditioning and on-site laundry are highlighted amenities that ensure a comfortable stay.
** Nightly Rental Rate includes up to 16 guests. Additional guest fee incurred for 17 or more guests; total guest counts above 20 must be discussed with owner. Children 2 years and younger stay free. **
Villa Tatutina is comprised of 6 guest structures and several supporting structures. There are 4 private guest villas situated around a courtyard with a fountain and cascading bougainvillea over a beautifully lighted arbor.
* Harbour House is decorated in a delightful Bahamian theme and is complete with spacious living room, breakfast area and kitchen. The Garden Suite has a Queen-size bed and full first floor bath. The upstairs Sky Suite has a Queen-size bed and in-room full bath (considered semi-private, as there is no door at the top of the staircase). The living room has a fold-out couch.
* Reef House offers the Grouper Suite and Red Snapper Suite, each with a Queen-size bed and an in-room full bath. The Blue Hole Loft, which is accessed by a steep staircase located within Red Snapper, also has an in-room full bath and provides 1 Full-size bed and 2 Twin beds, each with twin-size trundles.
* The Lighthouse is set amid our beautiful gardens with a spectacular view of the harbour, and offers a King-size bed, full bath, and outdoor shower.
* The Gate House offers 2 ground level bedrooms; Curley Tail Suite with 2 Queen-size beds and Clownfish Suite with 1 Queen-size bed. There is 1 additional bedroom upstairs; Parrot Fish Suite with 1 Queen-size bed and 1 fold-out sofa. This villa includes one shared full bath for all bedrooms, a full kitchen, and laundry room. Each suite has a separate entrance and all open into the kitchen area.
* The Gathering House is designed for entertaining guests in a formal or informal setting. It has a beautifully furnished living room and dining room with custom designed cut glass windows from floor to ceiling. The private office features designer cabinets with granite workspace. Sophisticated elegance describes the powder room, with a hand blown Italian glass bowl and pedestal floating on hand-cut granite. The “Chef's kitchen” is equipped with custom cabinetry, granite counter tops and a huge walk-in pantry.
* The Infinity Pool and Pavilion has a full kitchen, full bath, and outdoor covered seating. Relax and enjoy the harbour views and easterly breezes.
The Dock will accommodate up to a 100' and 70' boat. Dock fees apply to all private and rental boats moored at the property (based on length of vessel, charged per foot, per night). Metered electric, metered water, and bagged ice available for a fee at the dock. Dock Power Pedestal offers two 50-amp hook-ups. Additional guest amenities may be available in the Dock House.
Weekly cleaning fee assessed at the time of reservation (for property cleaning completed upon check-out). Additional daily service provides one cleaning staff person on-site. Extra cleaning services or mid-week turnovers available upon request; additional fees apply. Refundable damage deposit fee of $1,000 is assessed at the time of reservation. A Resort Fee will be charged to all reservations via separate invoice.
Other Concierge Services may be available including: Sprinter Van rental with driver, assistance with pantry stocking deliveries, indoor/outdoor spa services on-site, and more. Additional fees apply.
Charter boat rentals available locally for charter fishing, sightseeing excursions, or snorkeling/diving. Kayaks, paddleboards, and snorkeling gear are also available upon request.

We stayed for two weeks and had a blast. The accommodations, boat docks, swimming pool and staff were all perfect. This is a wonderful house for a family reunion or a great place to stay with friends. We will be back!

We rented Villa Tatting for our company retreat and it was perfect. We all had space and the gathering house and pool made it easy for everyone to gather when we wanted to. The private villas gave everyone privacy as well. 10/10 would recommend. The staff onsite and offsite were extremely responsive, friendly and accommodating!

We were there the 2nd week of July '19. The location and home were as advertised, really nice property, well outfitted, very nice dock and great location. Staff was very nice and helpful (took sometime to hear back a couple of times, but all in all everything got done). Only ONE HUGE issue......We reserved this home because my neighbors had it last summer and raved about it, ESPECIALLY the "master suite".
The new owner has recently taken it for himself and made a new "master suite". TOTAL JOKE ! We would have taken one of the guest suites, but our friends with kids needed them. The "new" master suite might pass for a room at the Holiday Inn (and that's being kind). Small, no closet, no internet (in that room only), no tv, no box spring, just a cheap mattress on plywood, with sharp, exposed corners. I cut myself badly and will no doubt have that scar for the rest of my days ( I have the pictures of the chunk it took out of my shin and all the blood). For that much money, the master was a real disappointment. Anyway, such is life, other than the master suite, it's pretty cool.

Where do we begin? First of all, want to let everyone know about two amazing people who we met. First, there was Carolyn the property manager who was so helpful with everything, who answered my numerous emails so quickly, made arrangments for two birthday cakes to be made for my grand twins 11th golden birthday and delivered! Then there was Willie who was at the property every day bright and early to make sure that things were ready for the day, and made sure that we had everything we needed.
When we first arrived at the property we knew we landed in Paradise. The grounds on the property were amazing and the different buildings, which we called our houses, were exactly what we thought they would be. We spent the week with our two sons and their families. The gathering house was the best place for all of us to enjoy our meals together in the mornings. Each family had their own house to stay in and we never worried about waking others up since we all had our separate sleeping quarters. The one house with the kids sleeping area is amazing, but one note, to get up there you have to climb a ladder stair. We had a three-year-old that we would not allow them to go up because it was steep! The pool area was huge and great for all. A small sandy area with a hammock for the little one. There was also a hot tub that was great for the chilly nights that we had. The outdoor kitchen was perfect for the evening meals. The dock for our boat was great. Would love to have had some chairs on the dock for some night fishing that we did. The property was gated and we never thought once about locking up the houses when we left. The laundry facility on the property was great to have midweek. I just can't say enough about this property. Thank you for allowing us to spend the week at the lovely property and we will be back!
