An architecturally designed hideaway cottage just outside of Burton Bradstock in Dorset. The property can sleep two people on one bedroom.
Burton Bay is a hideaway cottage for two just outside of the coastal village of Burton Bradstock. The cottage has one bedroom and a shower room. The rest of the property is open plan living, with sea views from the lounge There is also a laundry room.. Outside of the property is a patio with sea views and a patio garden with furniture. For ease there is also off road parking. This romantic hideaway in Burton Bradstock is perfect for a cosy break with your loved one. Note: Guests should be aware that the property is situated just outside Burton Bradstock village and care should be taken if walking the short distance where there is no footpath into the village. Note: During the summer season, the coastal road may be busier.

The village itself boasts 16th and 17th century thatched cottages as well as two pubs, a shop and a Post Office, the glistening Hive Beach is a wonderful spot to spend the summer days with the magnificent cliffs as a backdrop, there is also a lovely café to sit and relax in, once a year the Spring Tide Festival is held which would be worth lining up your holiday with! There are many attractions and activities to enjoy around here, with the stunning coastal resort of Weymouth making for an excellent day out. Alternatively, head inland to the county town of Dorchester and Yeovil for great shopping, architecture, eating and drinking.

Burton Bay lodge is a Beautiful home from home…. quiet location, bright, clean, and much bigger than we expected. Perfect enclosed garden which was great because we didn’t need to worry about our dog getting out! Irene and Geoff were perfect hosts, very friendly and made us feel very welcome. A lovely touch was our welcome basket with some goodies in, thank you very much 😊
If you’re looking for somewhere to stay that’s quiet, has fantastic views and walking distance to the coast and south west coastal path make this your next stay…you won’t regret it, we didn’t 😊😊

Lovely place but arrival a bit tense as the key instructions were wrong. Safe exit a worry- needs a mirror so driver can see when to join the road
