Lake Michigan, Indiana Beachfront Vacation Rental

This property is as advertised right on a very good stretch of beach. It was a very nice, well maintained and clean cottage. Our contact with the owners was always comfortable and positive. They were always responsive to any questions or requests from us. We will be back.

The most fabulous original vintage Malibu Barbie & Ken Surf Shack Dollhouse! Although not for everybody, a 'lil weathered and rough around the edges, sand-blown and romantic, this Indiana Dunes sunset haven treasure is a gem. Sleeping in the enclosed porch bedroom with open level windows and a lake view was perfect, we were drawn to it right away, our happy place! The most private vast and expansive beach all to ourselves, completely remote and stunningly natural against the juxtaposition of industry and the Kingdom of Chicago Star Wars skyline sunsets! No clocks, vintage Phish CDs, lake house tchotchkes, great pillows, easy parking, and that beach, incredible! Deb was a great hostess, and even cooked us dinner! She and her friend Steve took good care of us. Sandy Nook is a bit of lost heaven, and now we're just crazy about Indiana, so much style in Indiana, a special patter: Sparkling & amusing! Never thought a week stay would fly by so fast, but it's a must: each day is different and offers its own special magic. We were lucky to book it and would gladly stay here again! A rare and authentic beach treat!

Deb was wonderful This is a hidden gem!

This was a perfect beach cottage for our family with toddlers! We played at the beach with the provided sand toys, roasted marshmallows at the fire pit and went to a nearby pumpkin patch. We even enjoyed a rainy day by playing boardgames in the cozy cottage. Deb was such a wonderful host that even gave us a parting gift to remember our stay at the beach. We had the perfect family weekend and will definitely be back.
