About this house rental
This established oceanfront cottage is located in Atlantic Beach and offers plenty of room to spread out. Private apartment has its own entrance with kitchen, dining and living area. Open kitchen and dining room is located on the main level. The second floor has 4 bedrooms and 1 full bath. A large sun porch opens onto the deck. Private walkway to the beach.

We rent to family groups, married couples, or mature adults over the age of 25. We do not, under any circumstances, rent to groups for proms, graduations, college house parties, etc. Misrepresentation will result in immediate eviction without refund.

** TWO OPTIONS FOR DAMAGE PROTECTION **
1. Damage Protection Insurance – For an additional $79.00, this plan covers up to $3,000 in unintentional damages to the rental unit that may occur during your stay. Report the damage to us, we’ll take care of the rest!
2. Security Deposit - $1,500 is immediately charged at time of booking. If the property is left undamaged, keys & parking passes returned, your security deposit will be refunded within 45 days after check out.

If you want an updated, modern house, this is not the place for you. The photos show the true style of the house.The check in process was easy. The staff at Canon and Gruber were nice to work with. The security deposit refund has a 45 day turnaround time, so hopefully they don’t find anything wrong since we kept the place clean all week.The beds were pretty comfortable, so that was a plus for the 8 of us who stayed. Lots of space for everyone to spread out, too. Plenty of silverware, dishes and cups in the kitchen. The frying pans could also be replaced as a few of them were flimsy.The appliances could use a serious upgrade, as well as the furniture in the living room. A fresh coat of paint to brighten up the dark wood paneling would be inviting. The outdoor shower was nice to try and get most of the sand off before heading inside. A few palmetto bugs popped up throughout the week. The blind in the front bedroom was broken and stuck halfway. Overall, the weekly cost being affordable was why we chose to rent the place. It was cozy, but we most likely wouldn’t book a second trip to this house.

Over all the location is great. Nice neighborhood with easy access to local shops and restaurants. As for the house it could use an update to furniture. The steps to the front door could use replacing as they are a little weak. The property could use an outdoor shower to wash away sand when returning from the beach. The sand dune from the house to the beach is kind of a hard walk as it’s getting higher each year. Especially for older visitors.

Great location. House needed some updates. Some outlets had no covers. Shades would not open in kitchen. Shower upstairs leaked into living room.
