Mendrelgang Homestay

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed the authentic Bhutanese home-cooked food. The food was delicious, and the host was also very happy to prepare dinner for us on request at an additional cost. What made the experience even more special was how thoughtful and accommodating the host was. They made sure we enjoyed the food and even prepared it according to our children’s preferences. Our kids absolutely loved the meals, and our little one also had a wonderful time playing with the host’s children. The warmth and hospitality made us feel very much at home. It was a lovely experience, and we would be very happy to stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine Bhutanese homestay experience!

Not much

This place wasn’t trying to be anything fancy, and somehow that’s exactly why it stood out. The hostess , Kinley was warm, genuine, and the kind of person who remembers the small things without making it a big deal. It didn’t feel like a “stay”, it felt like being looked after. The food deserves its own mention ;simple, local vegetarian meals but hands down some of the best we’ve had. Everything was clean, well kept, and completely worth the money. No over-the-top claims,just a genuinely good place run by genuinely good people. Would go back without thinking twice.
