About this house rental

Our lovely townhome is conveniently located in West Vail on the bus line just minutes from Vail Mountain. Water's Edge is located on Gore Creek with a mountain view behind it for a totally private mountain experience. The Master bedroom is on the third level and has a king bed and bathroom en suite. There is a bedroom with a king bed and a third one with two sets of bunk beds (perfect for kids) on the second level as well as a full bathroom. The main floor includes a large entry area, laundry, kitchen, dining room, living room and outdoor deck as well as an attached one car garage. The deck includes a Wolf grill that is available year round for your enjoyment. Family owned for over 20 years, Water's Edge is now available for rental! You will arrive to a fully stocked home. Help yourself to a cup of tea or cocoa or an Advil for those sore muscles after a long day skiing. Use what you need and leave something for the next guest. Enjoy a puzzle or a game or just relax and enjoy the scenery. Casa del Sol has one of the most beautiful pools in the Vail Valley and it is heated year round for your enjoyment. The hot tub is also there for warming up after a chilly day on the mountain. While a car can be convenient, it is not necessary. The bus picks up at the end of the complex parking lot for a short ride to world class skiing. You can also walk to the full service grocery store and various restaurants.

My friends and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic ski chalet, and we can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the charm and comfort of this home away from home. The location of the chalet just next to a Vail bus stop is very convenient to get to the slopes without needing to use the car. The interior of the chalet was tastefully decorated and had a cozy yet modern feel. The living area was spacious and provided ample seating for everyone in our group. We especially loved the fireplace, which added a touch of warmth and ambiance during the evenings. The bedrooms were comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring a good night's sleep after an exhilarating day on the slopes. One of the highlights of our stay was the well-equipped kitchen. It had everything we needed to prepare our own meals, which was not only convenient but also allowed us to save some money. The dining area was perfect for enjoying meals together and sharing stories from our skiing adventures. Throughout our stay, the owner was incredibly attentive and responsive to our needs. Any questions or concerns we had were promptly addressed, making us feel well taken care of. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable ski vacation. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

We stayed here over spring break with several teenage boys. We enjoyed the easy access to the slopes in the morning and the hot tub/pool in the afternoon evenings. There was easy access to grocery shopping and quick bites as well as easy access to the shuttle lines to get around. We caught the tail end of a Colorado storm on the way out and the host was super thoughtful and gracious to make sure we made it out of the mountains safely. I would definite consider coming back again if we find our way back to Vail!

The location was perfect for skiing at Vail and at Beaver Creek. Free shuttles to both ski resorts right outside the door. Inside we had access to everything we needed! Beautiful location nestled in the mountains with a gurgling creek in the back yard and lots of snow! Hot tub was perfect after a day of skiing. We LOVED the fireplace too! Perfect place for a family vacation. Just the right amount of space for everyone in our family! Thank you!

We had absolutely perfect week at this property. Condo is well positioned and just steps away from the ski bus. The owner is wonderful and took time to provide all the necessary information well in advance of our stay. She greeted us with a gift basket and a condo stocked with all the necessary essentials. I resist writing reviews because my expectations always seem too high and are rarely met - however in this case, I can honestly say this experience far exceeded my expectations in every way! The home is located ideally in West Vail - easy access to both Vail and Beaver. The inside the home is so inviting with a wonderful fireplace and absolutely gorgeous views of Gore Creek right out your living room sliders. The 3 level layout is ideal for families, the home is immaculate and incredibly well appointed with the highest quality furnishings, kitchen items and accessories throughout - including real down comforters and thick, plush bath towels :) The owners have stocked this home with everything you need, right down to supplying the Advil and hand warmers that you never have enough of! The added benefit of the shared hot tub and heated pool was a real treat! I can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was... in every way.

We had a great stay at this property. It was perfect for our group of 4 ladies. The place was very clean and comfortable. And it's located right next to a lovely creek which you look out onto. It's right next to the bus stop so easy to get to the village or to the ski lifts. Also we could get to Safeway to do shopping in a 5 minute drive. The heating is good with many different thermostats throughout the unit and there's a nice gas fireplace in the large lounge area. There's also a wonderful hot tub that's great after a day of skiing a short walk in the complex. I highly recommend this property!

The condo is immauclately clean and nicely decorated. They had all of the amenities for guests; video games, board games, fire place, videos and more. Communication with the owner was very easy and responsive. The property is close to ski lifts, grocery stores, and restaurants which are all on the bus route. Be sure you check the bus times on Google so that you don't have to wait too long at the bus stop which is very near the unit. The outdoor heated pool and indoor hottub was a great hit for the kids and adults.. We look forward to staying in this unit again.

My family and I visited Water’s Edge the week after Christmas and had the best stay! The host, Susan, was very attentive and friendly, giving excellent tips and pointers. When we arrived, the property exceeded our expectations. It was clean, well-stocked, and so spacious. The garage was great, as it kept our vehicle cleared off and we didn’t have to scrape ice or snow from it each day (Susan also provided windshield wiper fluid, which was so thoughtful because you really need it if you’re traveling on the interstate!)! The house has new carpet and cozy furnishings, and pretty much everything you need for a relaxing stay. Having a few pantry items was so helpful, so be sure to check in and look around before going to the store! We were pleasantly surprised by everything Susan had available to us. The location is good, and for ski guests, we highly recommend the shuttle to the Cascade lift. The Cascade lift is for “downloading” on the way off the mountain, as trails going back down were not open when we were there. After a long day of skiing, the pool and hot tub were a welcome treat! My kids really enjoyed swimming outside in the snow! Overall, we loved our stay at Water’s Edge and would love to return. Thank you so much, Susan!!

We stayed at Water's Edge during our annual ski trip in late January. Check in process was a breeze. We were shocked at how much room the condo had. There was even a neat little entertainment area upstairs between the bedrooms. Everything we needed on the trip was available in the condo. The host was extremely responsive and very thoughtful. The internet was a bit spotty, but a ski trip isn't the time to be hanging out on our phones anyways. As far as location, Water's Edge couldn't be beat. It was a 2 minute walk to the bus stop which takes you right into Vail village with multiple lift stops on the way. The nearest grocery store was a 5 minute drive away. Theres a creek running right through the backyard which was serene after a big snow. There was ample parking out front, a spot right in front of the garage, and plenty of storage in the garage for skis and equipment. We'll will ABSOLUTELY stay at Water's Edge next time we're in Vail if it is available.

Water's Edge was really nice, and a fantastic place to stay for a group traveling to Vail. It's literally a few minutes drive from the Cascade Lift. There's plenty of parking, and it's away from the crazy parking situations of Vail Village (we encountered a lot of full garages when we ventured by car to Vail Village). We stayed with our toddler son and another couple, and each couple had their own comfortable room (the master suite is epic with stunning views of the stream below), and the baby stayed in a pack n plan in a room of bunk beds that looked perfect for older kids. Susan was kind enough to acquire a high chair and lots of great toys for our son to play with, and he loved climbing up and down the carpeted stairs between the bedroom floors (new carpet btw). We loved cooking together and hanging by the fireplace watching movies or playing games at night, Susan had everything we needed to cook and bake. We didn't get to use the pool/hot tub, but it looked awesome. Susan was communicative, accommodating, and detail-oriented, by far the best VRBO host I've ever worked with. From toiletries, to cooking supplies, to hand warmers, everything we could possibly need was beyond accounted for. Thank you for a lovely stay!

This is our second stay at Water's Edge and we love this condo! It is nicely furnished with a well-stocked kitchen for cooking. The beds are very comfortable there is plenty of seating in the living room, dining room and kitchen. The kids love swimming in the pool and we enjoy listening to the creek right outside the condo. The location is a short drive to Lionshead and very convenient to the grocery store. The owner made check in and checkout very easy. It was a perfect stay and vacation!

This property delivered on every promise and more. My kids especially enjoyed the outdoor heated pool just steps from the property. Everything we needed was available to us the minute we walked in the door. The skiing was fantastic and the nearby shuttle stop got us to the slopes within 10 to 15 minutes each day. We even shared an evening playing one of the board games (Apples to Apples), and I'll never forget the many laughs and the silliness that ensued. A special thanks to the property owner, Susan, for all of her help along the way and making it possible for a most memorable and extraordinary vacation.

Susan was very easy to deal with. Condo was clean and ready for our group. She even had beer and wine for us in the fridge! Close to the store, short shuttle to Cascade Lift, easy walk to the shuttle, hot tub 3 doors away, woods and creek in back yard, 3 bedrooms with ample beds and room. Very nice place. We've roomed in Vail 6 or 7 times over the years and this was one of the nicer places, especially price and convenience wise. When we go back to Vail in the future we will book here again.

We had a great stay at this property in Casa del Sol on Gore Creek! There was plenty of room for 4 adults and the kids loved the bunk room. The house was charming and the perfect set-up for us. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. The kids loved the heated swimming pool on the property and the sound of the creek off the deck was beautiful. We were only a few minutes from the grocery store and from Lionshead base which made getting to ski school quick and easy. Thank you for a great ski vacation. We hope to stay here again on our next trip to Vail!

Our family had a very relaxed time at Casa Del Sol. The property was well located with the bus stop right there to take us to and from the casacade lift in no time at all. You could even take a short walk to the supermarket and other shops on the other side of the I70. The bedrooms were all very comfortable. The kitchen/lounge area was a great place to relax. The kitchen was well appointed. The communal spa/pool was great to relax in after skiing. No one else was there the two times I went there. All in all an enjoyable ski holiday. Would come here again.
