Recently renovated to perfection, this quaint and well-kept 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage is located on a private road and down the road from a private beach paradise. This property is perfect for couples, families and friends alike as it is a cozy space, yet large enough for privacy. Enjoy cooking in a well equipt kitchen, read a book on the covered porch, walk down the lane to dip your feet in the lake, or enjoy a nice barbecue with a cocktail- your options here are endless. In case you aren't a well suited guest for completely unconnecting, we have the fastest wifi you will ever experience and a cable TV in each room. The house has its own driveway for ample overnight parking and an in-unit washer/dryer for convenience. Complete with air conditioning and heat, your stay here is guaranteed to be enjoyable and comfortable. Our superb location is a stones throw from Union Pier, New Buffalo and Harbert, but nestled in our own friendly, lakeside community. We provide many amenities to make sure your stay is as effortless as possible, after all, life is great at the lake!

Sweet cottage in charming Lakeside, MI. 5 minute walk to the private neighborhood beach! Impeccably clean, excellent communication from host, perfect amount of space for a family of 4. We loved how open the kitchen is! The house is well stocked with beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella, and rolling cooler. We brought a wagon from home to transport beach supplies to & from the beach. Hailey was quick to respond to any questions & provided great detail about about the property. Easy check-in & check-out. Property is very close to downtown New Buffalo and other area attractions. We highly recommend the Cozy Cottage!

Lovely cottage and stunning beach. It felt like a cabin in the woods, but with a gorgeous beach and cute towns close by. The beach access was beautiful. The house was adorable, love the set up. It felt clean and cozy. Only issue was they were dealing with ants, which I totally understand they were trying to take care of and is an issue just with the area, but would have been nice to have a heads up, as we ended up having to throw out our snacks, but we would have been more careful storing them if we had known ahead of time. The communication was very swift when we let them know. I’m sure they’ll get that taken care of soon. I would still recommend this place and would come back again!

The house was nicely appointed and very clean. The owner was very responsive to any issue we may have had. The location was great, a short walk to a private beach. Our only issue was the large ant infestation. While we were told there might be a few ants given that the neighborhood is very woodsy, which we would understand, there were not just a few but many. They were on most of the counter tops in the kitchen, in one of the bathrooms and in two of the bedrooms. We even found one in the salt shaker. Needless to say, it was disconcerting. It made a very nice place difficult to enjoy.We know the owner is addressing the issue and wish her well in trying to eradicate them.
