About this house rental
WHY STAY IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD? Safety, No Crime! Arabi is in St. Bernard Parish (County). Arabi has a superior law enforcement that does not tolerate crime. When you stay in Arabi, you can go enjoy all of the fun things that New Orleans has to offer, but you return to sleep in Arabi without any worries of someone breaking into your house or car. Also, you can safely walk the streets at night in this neighborhood. Don't take a chance. Have a crime free vacation by staying at this house!
This is a beautifully restored four bedroom single home. It is 3 miles (10 minutes) from the French Quarter in the safest neighborhood in the city. The house has 12 foot ceilings. There are 3 full baths. This house has all of the character of an old New Orleans home. I have Wifi, a complete kitchen and a large yard that has newly built pergola with a patio set. From the house, it is nice to watch cruise ships, river boats and other vessels traveling on the Mississippi River. Also, there is off street parking. This is the safest area in the city! Unlike New Orleans, we have plenty of police in Arabi and they do not tolerate any riff-raft coming here to commit crimes. Arabi is in St.Bernard Parish(county). My wife and I love New Orleans. We have our favorite restaurants and places to go in New Orleans, but we love coming back to our house in St. Bernard Parish to safely sleep at night with peace of mind.

Nice quite private property that felt secure.Good family vacation with my children and grandkids. Parking was great because we could drive into the side yard. We were a group of 7 so plenty to unload. I would suggest bringing suction hooks so you can have more places to hang towels or other things. 2 rooms don't have a closet so be prepared. Stores are close to the property so you can always make a short run to get needed items. I would definitely use this property again.. One thing I would suggest is updating towel sets and replacing dish washing sponges. They look worn, but there is a dishwasher and dishwasher pod. I'm just old school. Pool, pool, pool!! Loved it.The fact that the pool is could be heated, I'd come back in the winter. The pool is even on a timer with lights and fountains.

It is a unique little home in a quiet neighborhood. The lawn care and bushes were a little out of control but once inside. Everything was fine. The owner was very responsive.

Put the address on the house. Nothing is marked. Provide dishwasher and clothes washing products. Provide more than2 rolls of tp per bathroom. How to access the house was confusing….should have been told- go thru the gate…The pool was GREAT, the neighborhood was SAFE.
