Travelled to Lehigh Valley for the national Mountain Bike Championships. It was a short and enjoyable drive to and from the venue. We had better rest, food, and family time than we would have had staying in the resort. The house was wonderfully well stocked and super clean!

Bittersweet Guest house is a beautifully renovated old farmhouse. It is spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, and looks even better than the pictures! The beds are so very comfortable and the house has everything you need. The host has done a wonderful job on this renovation and is gracious and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at Bittersweet.

The house is nestled into farm land, so peaceful and just stunning in the morning while the fog just sets down on the fields. The hosts are great! They made sure we had coffee and all essentials fom flour to olice oil. Cook ware was amazing and we had no issues cooking anything we wanted. Bathrooms were fully stocked making it easy since we forget our shampoo we didnt have to stress about anything. There is an AC unit in every room making it so nice and personal to everyone. The stairs are a bit steep but thats the usual for older houses in this area just keep in mind if stairs are hard for you all the rooms and the shower are located up stairs. We definiatly enjoyed our stay.

We would totally recommend staying at Bittersweet Guesthouse. Dean and Debbie were really helpful from the minute we booked. They sent information on places to visit and things to do to help us plan our stay. When we arrived Dean greeted us and made us feel very welcome and again was most helpful. The house itself was immaculate, one of, if not the cleanest house we have ever rented. The little extras of food, drinks and supply of coffee etc was very much appreciated and added that little extra touch. The supply of toiletries also added that little bit extra. The rooms were all really comfortable and we felt very relaxed and at home in the house. Due to our busy schedule we didn’t get much time to spend in the garden but it is beautifully maintained and lovely to sit on the swing seat with a nice coffee and just take in the views. It is in a great area to explore Pennsylvania. We loved the house and our stay here. Thank you Dean and DebbieHelen, Steven & Luke
