This modern home boasts +5,000 square feet of living space w/ three beautifully decorated floors, including state of the art technology, resting on a large wooded lot within walking distance of downtown Vineyard Haven.
Main Level - includes great room, combo kitchen/dining room and open sun porch. Great room has large flat screen TV, home theater system and wireless internet. Central air conditioning plus ceiling fans. Dining seats 10+. Kitchen has all needed utensils, pots, pans, dishware. Large screened porch off kitchen. Generous deck overlooks backyard with outdoor seating area and grills. Also this level - MBR Suite with King bed and private bath.
Second Level - includes second large MBR Suite w/ private bath, soaking tub and queen bed; 3 additional upstairs bedrooms: 2 BRs with 2 twin beds in each room; and 1 bdrm with 1 full, 1 twin; hall bath & laundry closet w/ washer & dryer. Second zone central air. SHEETS AND TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED BUT CAN BE RENTED and beds made before arrival.

This house was even better than we thought it would be! Clean, comfortable, spacious with plenty of room to gather, spread out, cook, eat, sleep, shower -- we had a group of 12 women for the weekend and we had the absolute BEST time ever!! We spent so much time on the porch around the big table. Cooking was a pleasure, kitchen was great and had everything we needed. Having a ton of beach chairs in the basement closet was very convenient. 15 minute walk to the little beach called Owen Park and town. My biggest complaint is having to rent our own linens and the check out procedure. Renting the linens (and towels!) for all the beds was an extra 200ish and we had to make all the beds ourselves which is not how you want to start your vacation, right?! And then on the last morning, check out is at 10 a.m. and so is the linen pick up. So, you have to strip all the beds, bag all the linens and towels and then in addition, take out all the trash cans, empty the dishwasher (couldn't load it and start it before leaving, all dishes had to be out). All before 10 am which made for a hectic and chaotic last morning on the island. Also, small note but for the amount of people that this house can sleep, more toilet paper should be provided. By the 3rd night, we were rationing TP between all the bathrooms and there was not enough stocked to accommodate our group for the length of the trip.

Our oldest daughter just recently got married on the island. My wife and I - and a few family members needed a house close to the venue. This house was perfect. Great space, modern and updated, perfect location - walking distance to town, and Marcene was a gem to work with.Thank you Marcene for making this a seamless, enjoyable experience. We will most definitely rent again.
