Excellent location. We liked meeting Ian, the owner, who told us the history of the Seagull Inn.

Fantastic location walkable to everywhere in Mendocino. Charming, clean rooms with very comfortable beds. Absolutely amazing breakfasts and customer service. Ian and Kim are truly exceptional at creating a welcoming stay and so helpful. All Ian’s recommendations in food and activities were 10/10 as are the cooking/baking recipes we enjoyed in the morning. Thank you so much!!

Breakfast was very nice -- warm muffin, yogurt, fruit, coffee, etc. The staff was very responsive and helpful.
Bathroom was small, but usable. The pull-switch for the bathroom light was WAY up on the light itself -- my wife could not reach it at all! And the only outlet in the bathroom was up on the light -- and our hair dryer's plug was large and couldn't be plugged into it.

Central position, welcoming staff
We stayed in the ‘Shed’, an outhouse in the garden; it smelled of damp and the bathroom had a lot of pill bugs that we had to remove from the shower and floor, there were also someone else’s long, dark hairs in the shower cubicle. I messaged the property about these issues via Booking after our stay and did not receive a reply.
