About this house rental
Our spacious 4 bedroom, oceanfront home is in the Portofino I complex on Waccamaw Drive in Garden City. We boast an outdoor shared pool and landscaped common grounds. The pool, the houses, & the beach are all connected by landscaped sidewalks and wooden beach crossovers throughout the 9 home complex. Garden City is known as 'The Family Resort'. Our home is situated near mini-golf, Sam's Corner arcade, the Garden City pier, a waterslide park, many wonderful kid-friendly restaurants, many championship golf courses, shopping, amusement parks, live theaters, a flea market, a mall, the list goes on and on!
Our home's first floor has a living room with a 42' HD flat screen smart,TV, wi-fi for your convenience, 2 full sized comfy couches,(one is a queen sleeper sofa), 2 reading chairs, a game table/breakfast table for 2 or more, a foyer, a full bath, a full kitchen, a guest bedroom with a Queen-sized bed, a dining area with a table for 8 people, 4 barstools at the kitchen counter, and a covered oceanfront porch and stairs down to the beach & pool.
The second floor has a large Master bedroom with a King-sized bed and private bath with a walk-in closet, a 2nd bedroom with a King-sized bed and a shared full bath, a 3rd bedroom with 1 Double bed and a captains bunk (double on bottom, twin on top), a jack-n-jill bath, a separate washing machine & dryer, and a covered oceanfront porch shared between the 2 Master bedrooms.
There is a large picnic table and a wooden swing under the carport as well as a cozy seating area. A small charcoal grill is also provided. The Carport has steps to the first floor.

Our house was beautiful and located on a great stretch of beach. We were within 7 minutes of all the restaurants on the boardwalk at Murrell’s Inlet, and within 20 minutes of Broadway on the Beach.

The property was even better in person than in the pictures! We were very happy to find that the beach access was so convenient! The pool was also very conveniently located. We were traveling with 3 small children and found it super easy to go back and forth from the house to the pool and beach! There were plenty of beach towels and beach toys for the kids and plenty of games inside for rainy days...but we had beautiful weather the whole week:) The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need! There was plenty of room for our family of 8 and the everyone said their beds were comfy. The dishwasher went out the night before we arrived and the owner went above and beyond to have a new one installed by the time we arrived! The maintenance man was leaving just as we arrived and he couldn't have been nicer. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.

Thank you for opening your house to our family. The location was absolutely perfect, as were the accommodations. We definitely loved everything about it. Also, any questions we had were answered so quickly and Amanda went above and beyond with the information she provided.
