River Getaway - Serene, peaceful, yet close to all attractions and activities.

Doug and Carolyn were the most hospitable hosts we’ve had over the years on our travels. The location of their place on the river is unmatched. The bed and furniture were comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen very functional. We loved it.

I'll start by saying that the hosts are the nicest people and they went above and beyond for us. The property is clean and easy to access. It was well stocked with towels and extra linens. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. The view is spectacular. This will be our home away from home when we visit Spokane.

What a wonderful property and fantastic hosts. We were in town to visit family, and the location is perfect to easily get downtown for out to the Valley.The unit is well equipped and cozy. We had everything we needed and more. It was spotlessly clean, and you can’t beat the river view.In short, this stay was one of the best we’ve had. The hosts went above and beyond and the unit was a cozy river retreat!

I spent a very relaxing week at Eagles Nest, and will definitely be staying again. The setting is beautiful and Carolyn and Doug couldn’t have been nicer. I was alone for the first 6 nights of my stay before my husband and a friend joined me for a couple of nights. I visit the area a couple times a year and always stay at a hotel. This time I was looking for something quiet and more private where I also felt safe, and this was just the ticket. It’s not a hotel experience, but if you want a quiet, private spot with a stunning view of the Spokane river and a comfy bed to unwind and use as your base, this is a winner.
