Our Lake house is on Lake Logan Martin on a peaceful section of the lake.
Our home is located on a quiet, dead end street. We have a lot of older neighbors, and ask that you keep your gathering very low-key out of respect to our neighbors. Also, do NOT exceed 20 mph on the road leading to our home.

Other places we like to eat are Isabella's Mexican Cantina, Pell City Steak House, Cracker Barrel and you can pick up some awesome RIBS at the Texaco Gas station that is next to McDonalds in Pell City.

In addition, in that same area, there is a Dairy Queen (yum!) and a Sonic. These are all about 10 minutes away. (This area is constantly changing and updating, so all info may not be fully accurate). Farther down Hwy. 231, another 6-7 minutes, is a Bargain Hunt, an American Thrift Store (I love a treasure hunt!) and a Burkes. We just returned from an unforgettable stay at the lake house, and it truly had something for everyone—from our 7 & 8 years old grand children to our 77 year old Uncle. The house was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The kids loved swimming off the dock while the adults enjoyed peaceful mornings on the porch with coffee and lake views. The kitchen was fully equipped for family meals, and the layout made it easy to stay connected. There were board games, a ping pong table, and even a few kayaks that kept us all entertained. The bedrooms were cozy and quiet, and the accessibility features made it comfortable for our older family members. We made memories boating, fishing, playing cards, and watching the sunset together. This place felt like home—but better. Highly recommend for multigenerational families looking to unplug and reconnect. Our hosts Bill & Susan were very responsive & we are looking forward to our next visit.

Our daughter got married in Cropwell a few miles for the house so it was perfect for us! We had plenty of room for friends and family!!!

We came with just five but could have had extended family as well. All the "public space" is arranged to allow all a view to the lake and to feel like you are part of the action. Stuck with babies on the porch, no problem.....grandma wants to enjoy watching the kids jump off the deck, no problem........even if you have to wheel someone to the upper level dock you can. I'd not heard of this lake before, but it was fantastic - we brought our kayaks (Bill had two more) and spent all our time exploring/fishing the coves nearby. Bill gave us recommendations for nearby marina rentals, but the weather was iffy - so we just explored via paddle. Our teen girls spent all their time around and on the dock - sunning, lazing on the large floats, daring each other to jump from the top deck. Lake is very busy on the weekend, very quiet in the mornings and easier to traverse during the week. There are plenty of fish! I'm sure there are things to do in Cropwell, but with a pandemic we stayed put and our four days did not find us bored.Appeared to be good BBQ nearby, but went to nearby Publix and cooked here at the house. The place is well taken care of - kitchen well stocked. Only suggestions from us - adding screen to the porch would be awesome. Ping pong table is wonky. One of the kayak paddles was only a single side so difficult to cross the lake. We truly enjoyed this treasure, and hope to be back with extended family after the pandemic. Thanks for giving us an opportunity for this little getaway!
