Washaki Cabin is the quintessential cozy Montana log cabin! This well-appointed cabin awaits your next Big Sky Escape! Located just minutes (.5 miles) from Big Sky Resort and nestled in a wooded area prime for wildlife viewing, the cabin is great for couples seeking a few days away from it all to take in the breathtaking views of Lone Peak. The owner lives on-site in a nearby main house, approximately 50 yards from this cabin, with a shared driveway.
Big Sky, Montana, is the perfect place for a vacation in WINTER or SUMMER! Big Sky Resort, "America's Biggest Skiing," offers winter enthusiasts 5800 acres, a 4,350 ft vertical drop, and an average annual snowfall of 400 inches. Lone Peak, at 11,166 feet, offers challenging runs, iconic chutes, and magic carpets at the base, which provide kid-friendly beginner runs.
In the summer, enjoy Yellowstone National Park, fly fishing in the blue-ribbon trout streams, white-water rafting, Arnold Palmer golf course, mountain biking, zip-lining, hiking, or just chill in the mountains of southwest Montana. Washaki Cabin is only an hour from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park, with its abundant wildlife. We thoroughly enjoyed the Big Sky Cabin. Everything was perfect for our stay. The cabin has the most beautiful view of Lone Peak and the ski area. The location to go skiing is convenient. It is just a quick drive to the free parking lots with the free shuttles to the resort center. We hope to stay here next year.

Great place to stay close to the mountain village. Lots of windows to have great views of Lone Peak and the mountain village. Helpful and supportive host. Amenities were great and included everything you might need but bring your own coffee. Enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay, and absolutely loved the location. This home was clean, well-stocked, nicely furnished and exactly what we were hoping for!! The view of Lone Mountain was spectacular. We’d love to return!!
