About this house rental
I hope you enjoy staying at my place as much as I enjoy hosting. This cozy cottage was my first home, in which I recently renovated. It is equipped with a full kitchen, single bathroom, washer and dryer, flat screen TV equipped with 100 mbps and Amazon Firestick. If you need anything at all, I am a phone call or message away.
The space:
Fully equipped kitchen with brand new stove and dishwasher, new washer and dryer amenities, and Amazon Firestick to use on flat screen TV. The house has a privacy fence and large back deck, in which you can use the patio furniture and enjoy any seasonal fruits or veggies in my garden.
The bedrooms are simple, each with a side table and small lamp. Sheets are always fresh and clean, and I have provided fluffy white towels for each guest, that will make you feel like you are having your own personal spa day.
You have the entire property to yourselves minus the garage. The backyard is fully enclosed with a privacy fence. The backdoor opens up onto a wooden deck, which is furnished with a couch, lounge, and hammock. The deck is lit by a rear light or string lights.
Location:
-Across from Centennial Park, a beautiful park which hosts disc golf tournaments, has full playground, and gazebo for lunch
-5 minute drive to Mass St
-5 minutes to anywhere on KU campus
-10 minute drive to Rock Chalk Park
-Short walk to community Mercantile across the park
In the center of Lawrence, a short walk or drive to Dillons or the Merc. Short drive to top notch restaurants and events Lawrence has to offer. 3 minute drive to Leid Center and 5 minutes to anywhere on the KU campus.
Other things to note:
The house has a Ring Video Doorbell on the front of the house for your safety and mine.
No smoking in the house please. Smoking inside the property and/or strong secondhand smoke smell or any evidence of smoking (i.e. cigarette butts or ashes) in or around the house will result in an automatic extra $50 cleaning fee.
Any animal on premises will result in $50 cleaning fee. I would like to keep the home clean of allergens for guests who may have a strong pet allergy.
Absolutely no parties on the premises. Failure to adhere will result in immediate eviction.
Please be honest about how many people you plan on staying. More guests means more wear and tear on the property and higher water and energy bills. A cute little cottage decorated nicely and very clean, we liked how quiet the neighborhood was and the location was excellent. I always worry that the bed won’t be comfortable but the beds were just right, and I am going to order towels like Angela had, I fell in love with them! There is also a wonderful little grocery 2 blocks away with organic everything. We ended up leaving early to see family and Angela was so nice about that. I can see why she is in the business she is a kind host.

Great little cottage in Lawrence - walking distance to Munchers Bakery! Clean and comfortable - we didn't get to enjoy the patio because it was so freaking hot, but it would be great in cooler weather!
