About this apartment rental
The best of the coast all for you here at the Peaceful River Cabin. This newly redecorated cabin sits directly on Bon Secour River. This 2 bedroom 1 bath is ideal for your vacation get away. Open concept Kitchen, dining and living room. 2 bedrooms with room enough for 6 people with a King size bed in the master and two twins in the second bedroom, also a couch with a bed in the living room. Bright colors and comfortable furnishings. Outside living is where you will want to be with plenty of seating to fully enjoy the view. .
There is so much to do or do nothing at all but gaze out over the beautiful scenery. You can fish right off your pier directly in front of the house, the pool is steps away so the kids can come and go as they please while you relax and watch the tide roll in or roll out. You can grill your catch and eat on the patio. then go for a sunset cruise in your boat (if you choose to bring one) in Mobile Bay, only 15-20 minutes by boat. We often times have dolphin come up in the river to feed and teach their young right in front of the house! Kayak or just float in the river. We have friendly neighbors too. Many birds to watch - Brown Pelicans all year with White migrating Pelicans in the winter. Ducks and migrating ducks also, Cranes, Heron and occasionally seagulls too. You can reach the fisheries by boat also, what a treat to go pick up your dinner by boat and return to cook it and dine by the water. Just in case the fishing trip did not go well, just pick up your "catch" on the way home.
We are located 5 minutes for the fisheries where the shrimp boats come in so you will have access to the freshest shrimp and seafood everyday. Aquillia, Billy's and Bon Secour Fisheries.
There are many activities and attractions very close. Waterville water park, go-karts at The Track, numerous putt, putt locations, Orange Beach has a large public fishing pier, zip line, many charter fishing marinas including Zeke's, Outcast, San Roc Cay, Sportsman. Great restaurants everywhere and many Golf Courses to choose from. But most important is the BEACH, only 10 >Of course we feel like the best activities are right at your door step.

Book this for my wife and her sisters for a getaway. The place was incredible. Very nice, clean and comfortable with incredible views.Host was great to work with, would recommend this place for anyone wanting to get away, but still be close to anything you need

This place is a little bit worn (furniture). It is in a very nice location. The good: location, comfortable bed, comfortable couch, great water pressure, wildlife very close by, filtered water in the frig and lots of storage in kitchen, very clean inside. Good communication and directions. We were pleasantly surprised to find a tub/shower combo since the listing states there is a shower only. The not so great: kayaks are barely usable (this was our primary reason for staying here) and had to be cleaned before use and were missing some parts and seats were very beat up (one was bent in unusable way, one has a list to the left), life jackets are all moldy, no privacy from neighbors while on balcony. Roku TV instead of expected Direct TV cable. I left a nightlight in the bathroom that I got as it was helpful to us.

This property was perfect for our fishing trip. Close to charter fishing in the Gulf and excellent fishing in the river.
